$900B Defense Bill Targets China with New Investment Restrictions

Congress released 900 billion protection law That is reshaping economic and military competition with China by imposing new investment restrictions, banning most technology from the Pentagon’s supply chains, and intelligence efforts to track global footprints.

Both groups have been negotiating to downgrade this authorization for years, arguing that they no longer represent American personnel in the Middle East. Presidents from both parties, including Trump, have maintained that today’s military operations in the region do not rely on any of these principles and that the Commander in Chief is already in charge of American defense authorities if needed.
