In a statement sent by Fox News Digital, FBI Director Kash Patel condemned the suspect’s illegal return to the US.

“A person who was deported twice, convicted of violent crimes, and re-entered our country illegally had no business riding public transit in Charlotte, or anywhere near American citizens,” Patel said. “What happened on that small rail line is exactly what happens when our borders are treated as suggestions instead of laws.”
