Weight. Voters defrauded the campaign to end the legalization of cannabis called for action

Massachusetts voters have been cast in support of a counter-ballot plan that would end the $1.6 billion legal cannabis industry with options.

Anyone who has appealed for “reasonable cannabis policy recovery” over alleged fraud can contact their local Clerk of Courts to be redirected, the State Industry Advocacy Group advised Monday.

“Clerks do this all the time, they know what to look for when it comes to questionable signatures,” said David O’brien, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Business Association.

“If you are a voter who signed this petition under the impression that you did not get anything else, please do not hesitate to contact your local clerk and talk to them.”

And it follows public advice from state officials urging voters to read petitions before signing — and to contact voter registers if they suspect a trick.

The Republican-affiliated party in Massachusetts needs to collect a minimum of 74,574 valid signatures from registered voters on November 19.

That’s to improve on the combustion process before the second 3-year deadline.

The organizers, who were previously obliged to collect at least 100,000 signatures, said they met their goal in the midst of increasing the Carges using charging vendors who show complaints.

Racism spokeswoman Wendy Wakeman dismissed the campaign as engaging in deceitful tactics.

But, he told the Glon Globe, voters who signed under false pretenses have only themselves to blame.

“Even if this happens, the bottom line is that you are signing something that no one has read yet,” he told the newspaper.

According to O’BRIen’s O’Brien, that’s a telltale sign.

“The fact that the campaign refuses to discourage these actions shows that they know they don’t have the support to go forward without lying,” the statement said.

“Obviously, they’re having trouble finding people who want to repeal our effective cannabis laws and kill our thriving cannabis industry.”
