Barcelona Manager Hansi Flick went viral at the weekend, after footage of a heartfelt interview with Raphinha after their 3-1 win. The German manager was seen on the bench after the game looking deep into something.
It was an image that worried the blaugrana fanbase, perhaps to protect Flick’s true feelings about his problems this season. The next morning, it was reported that Flick was unhappy with assistants Marcus Sorg and Jose Ramon de La Fuente being sent off during the game.

Flick’s interpretation of his interview with Raphinha
It was the second question Flick was asked by the machine during his pre-match duties, as Barcelona prepare to take on Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou. Flick sponsored a version that was reported to local media.
“It would be a good time to win, against one of the big teams. It’s funny how that game went down.
“I wanted to clear my head a little bit; I didn’t want to argue. So I thought it’s better to wait a little bit, this thing makes you adge waiting. But then I touched you a lot. You’re happy here. We’re not at our peak like last year, but we’re strong.”

‘We make a lot of mistakes’ – Hansi Flick
Expanding on his calls every time for his side to improve both on the ball and in general, Flick asserted that his side made too many mistakes.
“We need more control. We have quality, and we want to see it. I said after the game. We made a lot of mistakes in controlling the game, and that’s what I’ve been missing in recent games.”
The Barcelona manager noted that the fact that Barcelona had La Liga last season was a factor this year to be more difficult for his side.
