UK Russian Agency Sanctions over 2018 Nerve Agent Attack – National

Britain admitted to RUSSIA PREENTING REENTER ALTION FRU and summoned Moscow’s ambassador on Thursday after an investigation concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin was responsible for the 2018 attack on a British agent.
The government said that the GRU could be shown by its actions completely because of “Reckless” including this attack in the city of Salisbury against Sergei Skripal, who was arrested in Russia in 2006 for spying on Britain. He was released as part of the 2010 spy swap and stayed in the UK

Skripal and his daughter Yulia Skripal became seriously ill in March 2018 after being exposed to the nerve agent Navichok, which was smeared on the front door handle of the Spy-spy. A police officer, Nick Bailey, also fell ill. All three survived.
Three months later, Dawn Sturgess, and her partner collapsed shortly after finding a discarded perfume bottle containing Novichok. Sturgess sprayed the contents of the bottle on her wrist and died days later. His partner survived.

Moscow has denied any role in the poisoning. In 2018, Putin dismissed Sergei Skripal as “just a Scumbag” with no interest in the Kremlin.

Former Justice Anthony Hughes Hughes, who led to the death of Sturgess, said that the attack by the skurripals “must have been authorized at the highest level” by Putin.

He concluded that Sturgeness was “an innocent victim of an attempt by Russian federal officials to carry out assassinations on the streets of Salisbury using a toxic nerve agent.”
Britain has charged three GRU agents with this period of extreme attacks, but the UK has no extradition treaty with Russia, so there is little hope of bringing them to trial.
Navichok is a class of military nerve agents developed by the Soviet Union at the end of the cold war. Western weapons experts believe that it is only available in Russia, although Mshukumo has said that the US, UK and other countries have the technology to do it.
The UK’s expulsion order also called for eight police forces suspected of working for the GRU. Britain’s foreign office said it targeted Yulia Skripal with malware five years before the Novichok attack.
Prime Minister Keirir Starmer said Hughes’ findings were ‘a stark reminder of the Kremlin’s disregard for innocent lives. “
He said: “Dawn’s needless death was a tragedy and will serve as a reminder of Russia’s inhumane aggression,” he said.
