The Border Patrol announces a $5,000 reward for finding illegal immigrants

The US Murder Patrol Chief, Michael Banks announced that almost all illegal immigrants arrested will be fined $5,000″.
In a post on X Thursday, the banks said that illegal immigrants aged 14 and older who enter the country without inspection will face fines, “said the President included in the Law in July.
“This message applies to all illegal aliens — regardless of where they entered, how long they have been in the US, their current location, or any ongoing immigration proceedings,” Banks continued.

This warning came after a lawsuit was filed Thursday against the federal government on behalf of 21,500 immigrants who face daily fines of $998, amounting to $1.8 million each for staying in the US illegally.
Their lawyers argue that they are trying to follow federal immigration laws.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced in October that illegal immigrants in the US will face a fine of $1,000 “to include participation and a full ban on the parole program.”
DHS this week unveiled a “holiday deal for life,” giving illegal immigrants a “Monday to Monday” eviction notice.
All illegal immigrants in the country can get a free flight home and a $1,000 bonus for voluntarily leaving the country. The average cost to arrest, detain and deport someone is $17,000, according to DHS.
People who are in the US illegally also may be eligible for a waiver of any fines or penalties incurred for failure to travel, DHS said, allowing for the possibility of legal return.

The Trump administration previously announced it would close fiscal year 2025 with 237,565 Border Patrol cuts, the fewest since 1970.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox Digital News in October that the administration said it was “at a record breaking pace” with 600,000 deportations by the end of the first year.
More than 2 million immigrants have left us this year, he said, including 1.6 million self-immigrants, 515,000 deportations and 485,000 others.
