Kelsey Grammer thinks President Donald Trump is “one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had.”
Earlier on Saturday, Trump presented the 2025 Kennedy Center honorees with their awards in the oval office. After the ceremony, the state department Kennedy Center honors the Medal dinner.
This year’s recipients include Sylvester Stellone, Gloria Gaynor and George Stait, Michael Crawford and members of Kiss.

The “Cheers” star also touched on Stallone being honored at this year’s event and said he was “over the moon” about it.

He added: “I was on the Selection Committee, so I knew about it,” he added. “You are a force of nature. Sylvester Stallone has captured our imagination with various roles and created them beautifully.”
Grammer said it was “about time” Stallone was honored.

Strait spoke with Fox News digital news and said, “It’s a great honor” to be recognized by the Kennedy Center Honors.

During an oval office event, Trump shamed the “very fine people” who represent “the best of American art and culture.”
“I know most of them, and I’ve been a fan of all of them,” Trump said, according to the Associated Press.
“This is a group of symbols of your work and achievements that have inspired, raised and united millions and millions of Americans. This is perhaps the most filled and famous section of the Kennedy Center we met,” continued Trump.

During the ceremony, Trump nominated each honoree with a newly designed medal, donated and created by Jewelry Tiffany & Co.

A gold disc emblazoned on one side with an image of the Kennedy Center and signature rainbow colors. The famous name and date of the Kingdom appear on the back.

The medallion hangs from a blue ribbon, replacing the original Rainbow Ribbook – decorated with three gold plates – that rests on Holodi’s shoulders and chest and has been used since the first tribute in 1978.
