Chast Chatgtt users think ads have been removed. The timing could not have been worse

I’ll get right to the point: chatgpt doesn’t have it according to many You started showing ads – not for this target, not for anyone else. It happens sometimes answer questions with small click links that aim to look like big ads. Oh, and a few weeks ago, Target announced that a feature that connects users to chatgpt is coming soon…
I’m on Chatgpt (prepaid), asking about Windows Bitlocker
And F-ing showing ads to shop at Target.
Yes, this is a screw up. You have lost all your users. pic.twitterst.com/2z5ag8pnlj

But this is not a chatgpt adsgt ad. It’s just a way to get angry and confused. And the time is terrible.
On Friday, Alistair Barr, who has been representing the business, wrote about OpenAi’s “Alert Emergency” The company’s emergency situation aimed at improving Chatgpt Arid Dealching Working Amameiri while setting up and decorating the updates of its latest AI offerings. One thing Barr’s reporting emphasizes above all else: Opelai is delaying its ad rollout instead of earning user loyalty.
But it may be too late.
An X user known as Benjamin de Kraker first posted what appeared to be Target ads within CitTGPT on Tuesday, December 2.” The post went viral.
In a famous red post on Wednesday, Burgitingerf announced this, “The death of Chatgpt.” In the comments, some users say that they see the same thing as De Kraker, sometimes they seem less than De Kraker, while still believing that the target links are advertisements.
And on Wednesday, Daniel McCauley, Opelai’s head of data and machine learning, said the job was not an ad. Ouneai has “introduced apps to some of our airline partners,” and they’re trying to put together a way to get Discovery for those apps to Chatgpt, he explained. The ultimate goal, McCauley said, is advertising that “enhances” the user experience.
Hi Benjamin, this is not an ad. We’ve introduced apps to some of our airline partners since Devday, including Target, and they’ve been working on a way to get app icons more organically within ChatGTT. Our goal is that applications of UX applications where relevant to the discussion, …

When it comes to the Crossover of AI and ads, the idea that ads will actually improve the experience is as ubiquitous as it is ubiquitous. For example, Deepa Jatkar who manages WPP’s ADS campaigns for Amazon India said almost the same thing in an interview in August: “Our goal is to create a human and relevant experience, not just data points.”
So, on Friday, OpenAI chief research officer Mark Chen issued a Mea Culpa-flavored response to De Kraker. “I agree that anything that feels like an ad needs to be handled with care, and it fell short,” Chen wrote. Opena has sought such buyout proposals and Chen said the company was looking at ways to prevent this sort of thing from happening down the line.
But at the same time, the head of ChatGpt, Nick Turley sent something similar with an undertone of healing. “I see a lot of confusion about chatgpt lip rumors,” he wrote. Then he added the following:
“There are no live tests of ads – any screenshots you’ve seen are real ads or not.
And that seems to be easing the situation too – at least where De Kraker is concerned.
But enough is enough for De Kraker. The real problem seems to be that chatgpt has been presenting its new app functionality in a way that users have – they are clearly rejected as unnatural and a lot like ads.
At the same time, no, these are not advertisements. All previous experience with tech organizations should tell you that opelai will be able to announce when ads are in place – because That Baby is a Baby!Investors will “Ooh” and look to be watching the Rockefeller Center Tree Night, and OpenAI’s leaders will not be coy or angry about reality ads when they happen.
So while OpenAI didn’t release ads, which would at least help protect investors’ money at the expense of annoying people like De Kraker, chatgpt kicked in, chatgpt kicked in AWOPS!
