Jason Momoa became a household name when he starred as aquaman in the DCEU, where his first film alone earned over a billion dollars at the box office. Now, he is set to return to the world of Superhero Cinema – Fearwhere he will be playing the main man himself, Lobo. This success of the movie can revive momloa’s work and cement the success of the DCU, but some hope that there will be other results: to get more DCEU characters as new characters in the DCU.
It’s not hard to imagine Jason Momoa as Lbobo… After all, he already has the build needed to deliver this buff baddie. Also, the DCEU’s aquaman was often written as Lobo, and a character who throws a weird one-liner at scenes while doing over-the-top combat. His inner workings – Fear it might be a favorite, and I can’t help but hope that this opens the door for James Gunn to bring back DCEU icons as new characters.
Revenge the biggest stars of the DCEU
The most obvious choice would be to remake henry cavill as a character Kingdom Come Superman. Such a casting would be a good way to honor Dceu’s legacy without going into David Corensot’s Cape Corthenwet by replacing him as the main timeline. Alternatively, Gunn could surprise us all and cast Cavill as someone who likes General Zod, which would make his on-screen battle with Corensot feel very human.
Even fans who hate ZACK SNYDER’s DCEU DCEU DCEU CCEUS Accept that Ben Affleck was a great guy, and it would be great to see him play a different hero in the DCU. In my perfect world, he’d play Wildcat in the movie franchise, or maybe he’d play batman again in a standalone The Dark Knight Returns synchronization. Or maybe things could come full circle, and he could play Thomas Wayne in the inevitable flashback where we see Batman’s parents killed.
The collective audience of Gal Gadot as a wonder woman, and I would like to find a role in the DCU that is appropriate for her experience as an Amazon on the screen. It might be a little on the nose, but she would be great as Wonder Woman’s mother, Hippolyta, or maybe the classic version of the Batman Villain, Lady Shiva. Speaking of villains, it would be an inspired choice to have Gadot’s performance (with a healthy reduction in makeup) granny beauty, one of the most reliable cops.
A peace offering to the snyder bros
At this point, you may be asking the obvious question: Why should James Gunn Recust Rest or anyone From the DCEU where there are so many unknown actors hungry for these roles? One simple reason is that it will serve as an Easter egg that will make longtime fans feel appreciated. That would go a long way in helping this cinematic universe succeed rather than crash and burn like the DCEU.
But mostly, though, I think DCEU cast members like Henry Cavill can go a long way in filling some of the colder, wider spaces in Fandom. To this day, there are so-called “bros” confirmed by James Gunn himself who fell over Cavill; That is not true, but putting cavings in this whole cinematic area at will show that there is no ill will that will exist between the actor and the director. This move will also infuriate fans who hate how Cavill, Gadot, and the rest of the cast portray these characters but who might prefer their careers in the hands of another director.
Which revenge takes place, however, will depend on two things: Fan reaction to Jason Momoa as Lobo and – Fearworking at the box office. If this movie goes “up, up, and over,” it could bring the DCEU back to life with one killer killer. If the movie bombs, it can take the DCU with it, all while destroying the hopes of fans to always see Henry Cavill agree to another high-profile movie.
