Comedian Bill Maher clashed with progressive commentator Ana KASTAIRIRIACIARI ONA KAPSAIRIARI ONE-Israel during the latest episode of his podcast “released on Monday.
Analysts and spokesmen discussed Israel’s military campaign against Hamas in Gaza, with Kaspaciar arguing that Israel had an unjustified war and killed large numbers of the group. Maher defended Israel, saying it had no choice but to continue fighting Hamas following Oct. 7, 2023, a terrible attack.
“The fact that you can’t see the moral difference between these two sides always amazes me,” Maher told Kasciary in their interview.

This debate began with Mather Arguing that freedom activists show hypocrisy by supporting the Palestinian cause while ignoring the lack of women’s rights in many Muslim countries.
Casciar responded by asking whether Palestinians should be ‘impressed’ by their culture, saying what Israel did to them.
Maheri replied: “Yes, you must prosecute the war to end it. That includes slaughter-
Casparian interrupted, saying, “I think – Listen – Civilians are killed in wars. I think everybody knows that. Everybody agrees on that.”
“Especially when you hide behind them!” Maher added.
Casparia noted his disagreement, saying that Israel allegedly killed more civilians than Hamas counted. He pointed out that the IDF reported that 83% of all people killed in Gaza were civilians.

Maher did not dispute the number, but said innocents were killed because Hamas fighters were “hiding behind them.”
He continued, “You understand that it’s very common in the world, two bad choices and you’re the only one… you don’t have a bad choice. They’ve been trying to make a deal. ‘ That’s what ‘from the river to the sea’ means.”
Casciary tried to illustrate his point, saying, “Suppose our country was occupied by Mexico, right? We have a group of people living in our country and they decide,
“It’s not your world and they don’t own it,” interrupted Maher, finding fault with his analogy.
“Let me finish. Let’s say Mexico decides, ‘You know what, we’re going to leave, but we’re going to control their electricity, what comes in.,” he continues.
Maher takes it again, “because they attacked!”
“‘We will throw grass at us and we like to decide from time to time that we will kill people because they are suspected of throwing rocks,'” Kasparian added.

He said, “I mean, Israel has nuclear weapons, Bill. They’ve got nuclear weapons … they’ve got world-sponsored military power.”
Maheri responded, noting his point shows how Israel is showing restraint, something he added that Hamas refuses to do.
“If Hamas has a nuclear weapon, how many seconds will it take before they use it on Israel?” he asked.
“I don’t know at all,” he replied.
“Three. Three is the answer. Three seconds.”
Casciar snapped back, asking, “How do you know that, Bill? Come on.”
“Because it’s in their Charter,” insisted Maher.
