A former Colorado clerk who was convicted of trying to tamper with voting systems in hopes of proving President Donald Trump’s election invalid in 2020 will receive a pardon.
Trump announced his pardon of Tina Peters in social reality, saying that she is in prison because of the “criminal case” of seeking an honest election.
“Democrats have been relentless in their targeting of Tina Peters, a patriot who just wanted to make sure our elections were fair and honest,” he wrote. “Today I grant Tina a full pardon for her efforts to expose voter fraud in the tight 2020 presidential election!”

Earlier this week, a federal judge refused to release Peters, 70, from prison.
He had been serving a nine-year sentence after a federal jury acquitted him of his involvement in a scheme to hack Mesa County Voting systems. He filed a lawsuit seeking an eviction earlier this year, arguing that his free speech rights were violated, but Judge Scott Varholak refused to budge on Monday.
“Ms. Peters raises significant constitutional questions regarding whether the trial court grossly unfairly punished her for protected First Amendment speech,” Vavholak wrote. “But because this question remains pending before the Colorado courts, this court must refrain from answering that question until after the Colorado courts have decided this issue.”
Peter Thrickin, Peter’s attorney, said he was officially notified of Tente on Thursday.

Tina Petros deserves to be judged, “Writes on Xeatime with a clam about President Trump asking him to pardon the president and explain why Tina is a witness of misconduct.”
In a December 7 letter to Trump, Ticktin said Peters’ trial was “boring” where he was not allowed to defend himself.
Trump said Peters has endured prison despite Democrats pushing for soft-crime policies that allow criminals to walk free, saying they are “not corrupt” in their probation.
“For years, Democrats have ignored violent and brutal crimes of all shapes, sizes, colors and types. Violent criminals who should have been incarcerated only strike back,” he wrote. “Democrats are also more than happy to allow the worst in the worst countries so they can rip off the American taxpayer. Democrats think there is some crime – they don’t get it!”
“Instead of protecting the American people and their tax dollars, Democrats have chosen instead to prosecute anyone who can get a safe and secure election,” he added.
