Samsung reveals the best winners with the 3 solutions of tomorrow to compete tomorrow in the phl

Samsung Philippines has revealed the winners of its third solutions for the future competition in the country, as it celebrates 15 years of solving the TOORORT competition around the world.

This year’s grand prize winner was banned from Cavite Science Compact School, with members Elisha Lhane Altheras, Helly P. Bautista, Eileen Cassandra S. Datu, and their advisor, Jeremae V. varias. Their entry, “Mahemo Health Monitor (Mahemo): A powerful Buoy, Buwed Stering Buoy for monitoring Mangrove Ecosystem Health,” is a powerful buoy system that detects water quality, phrusidity, phygen, dissolved oxygen. The aim of this project was to provide sustainable management of Mangrove Ecosystems and Mark key areas with floating buoys.

They will receive P500,000 worth of Samsung devices for their school, P250,000 worth of Samsung devices for students and their teachers, P100,000 in cash for team members, and P30,000 in cash for their teacher mentor.

The second prize winners also came from the Cavite Science Compacted School, with members Adam Uriel Berganos, Jared Y. Cabillan, Niel Jullian M. Caringal, and their Advisor, Mhorlotte O. Ilagan. Their project, “Eggnovation,” a segrequr control segregator, combines a navigation system with an image processing system to scan and separate eggs based on the new yolk automatically. Their goal was to reduce labor, reduce errors, and increase productivity in egg sorting.

They will take P300,000 worth of Samsung devices for their schools, P250,000 worth of Samsung devices for the team and their teacher, P70,000 in cash for the team members, and P25,000 in cash for the mentor of the teachers.

The winners of the competition came from Tuguegaraoo Science High School, with Zeke members Mbuezer Maggay, Princess F. Cue, Julius James A. Palattoo, together with their advisor Raissa Jennifer C. Pulido. Their project, named “Bantalay,” is a UV-powered valve trap with moisture-based correction, which works as a control solution for pest control. A project that aims to reduce chemical dependency, strengthen agricultural resilience, and develop sustainable farming methods.

They will receive P200,000 worth of Samsung devices for their school, P250,000 worth of Samsung devices for the team and their teacher, P50,000 for the team fee, and P15,000 for the teacher consultant fee.

The remaining Top 10 teams will receive P15,000 in cash for their team and P5,000 for their teacher. The groups are: “Flood Routes AI: AI Smart route and school risk mapping program” from Basippine Region Science School, “Sinaga Region Campus High School,” Sweat Project “Geolocation and Protocol Protolot of the disaster” from Cavite Science Integrated School,” Shellter: Damage of walnut and pistachio debris) High School of Science, and “VitalBand: Galaxy Ai-Integrated Health Health and Half Wristband for Filipinos” from Marikina Science High School.

From a simple essay contest in 2010, solving tomorrow has evolved into a powerful platform where students collaborate to develop meaningful projects that shape the future. It’s aligned with Samsung’s mission to make technology accessible while empowering “next-generation heroes.”

This year’s competition focuses on empowering communities through technology, along with environmental sustainability through technology, social change through Tech and Sports, and solving social problems through artificial intelligence (AI). With the support of the Ministry of Education, solving tomorrow 2025 receives more than 300 entries from students in Grades 8-10 in the country’s top science schools – narrowed down to 10 Finalists and, in the end, three to four winners.
