That would be from a user under the name “Steve Ahn” – the same name as its co-director The Legend of Aang-that expressed frustration with the studio. “I worked on this film, I started by leading one of the teams, and finally I directed. I am very frustrated with the decisions of the top studio,” reads the comment. As well as calling for a theatrical release, the statement said there were “a number of frustrating and inappropriate actions” taken by Paramount.

However, Ahn himself has said on Twitter that he did not comment on the “misleading comment” and wanted to be clear when it came to releasing details about the film’s production. “I hope this official clarification prevents further rumors or false speculations, and I sincerely hope that the dedicated artists of this film are not unfairly criticized or put in a difficult situation because of these unauthorized comments,” he added.
