President Donald Trump started 2026 by having White House doctors give him another clean bill of health.

“The White House doctors just reported that I’m in ‘PERFECT HEALTH,’ and that I’M ‘ACED’ (meaning, I was correct on 100% of the questions asked!), for the third time in a row, my cognitive test, something that no other President, or former Vice President, was willing to take,” Trump wrote on Public Truth on Friday.

“PS, I strongly believe that anyone running for the office of President, or Vice President, should be forced to undergo a rigorous, objective and proven Cognitive Examination,” he added. “Our great country cannot be run by ‘ERRORS’ or LAWLESS PEOPLE!”

Trump, who will turn 80 on June 14, 2026, has faced increasing scrutiny about his health, something he focused on in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal. He told the newspaper that he regrets taking high-profile photos in October, saying that this has raised questions about his health.

“Looking back, it’s too bad I took it because it gave them small letters,” Trump told the Journal. “I would have been a lot better off if they hadn’t, because the fact that I took it said, ‘Oh gee, is there something wrong?’ Well, there’s nothing wrong with it.”

In October, Trump had a heart and stomach exam, something Navy Captain Sean P. Barbabella, the president’s physician, noted in a memorandum to White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.

In his report, Barbabella said the tests, which he described as part of the president’s “continuing health care plan,” included advanced imaging, lab tests and preventive health checks. Barbabella said that “Trump continues to show very good health” and noted that the president “continues to maintain a difficult daily schedule without interruption.”

Leavitt read Barbabella’s report during a press conference on Dec. 1. An abstract read by Leavitt explained, “Advanced imaging is being done because men in his age group benefit from comprehensive cardiovascular health screenings.” The summary noted that imaging is done as a preventative measure to “identify any problems early, ensure longevity and ensure the president maintains long-term vitality and performance.”

The summary noted that Trump’s cardiovascular imaging was “normal.” Additionally, he said “all major organs appear to be very healthy.”

EXCLUSIVE: INSIDE TRUMP’S SECRET PROGRAM AS THE MEDIA FIXES HIS LIFE

Although Trump has maintained that scrutiny and speculation about his life was inappropriate, the Journal reported that those close to the president said that they must speak out loud in meetings because it is difficult to hear. The outlet also noted that the president has been criticized for appearing to fall asleep during recent White House events, something Trump denies.

Trump told the Journal that he hasn’t slept through recent events, saying he likes to close his eyes because he finds it “very relaxing.” He also criticized some of the incidents during the photos, saying that sometimes they will film me blinking, blinking, and catch me blinking.

The president also denied that he has a hearing problem. The Journal reported that “Trump grew sarcastic” when asked about it, saying “I can’t hear you. I can’t hear you. I can’t hear a word you’re saying.” He then said that sometimes he has trouble hearing “when there are a lot of people talking.”

Health care was a major issue in the 2024 presidential race, especially before then-President Joe Biden left office. Trump has often accused Biden of hiding the extent of his health and social problems.

Speculation about Biden’s struggles has been fueled by his lack of engagement with the media and reluctance to participate in illegal trade. The 46th president’s apparent intellectual problems became increasingly apparent when he struggled during a debate with Trump in June 2024. During the debate, Biden appeared to lose his train of thought and stumble over words.

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
