Photos have been released of Renee Nicole Good, the American citizen who was killed by an undercover ICE agent in Minneapolis during Trump’s immigration sweep on Wednesday.
The fatal shooting occurred during a migrant standoff south of Minneapolis, where Good was hit in his car.
Good, 37, was pronounced dead after being shot. The agent who shot the woman has not been identified, and the incident is still under investigation.
Photos were released Wednesday showing Good in professional photos with his family.

Minneapolis City Council members, in a joint statement, called for ICE to leave the city following the incident.
“This morning an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Nicole Good, a member of our community,” the statement said. “Anyone who killed someone in our city deserves to be arrested, investigated, and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”
Council members said they support Minneapolis’ immigrant community and accused immigration authorities of bringing “chaos and violence” to the city, vowing to work with federal partners to protect citizens.
More Democrats in Minnesota and across the country have condemned ICE for the killings and called for them to leave Minneapolis.
“ICE’s actions today were unconscionable and reprehensible,” said Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., on X. “I am outraged that their careless, senseless actions led to the murder of a legal bystander in Minneapolis. My heart goes out to the victim’s family, who will have to live forever with the pain caused by the senseless actions of Trump and the Administration.”
“This is not law enforcement. It’s state violence. It can’t defend itself, and ICE needs to be held accountable,” he added.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., told reporters she believes an ICE agent killed Good.
“This is now the thing that we feared the most about ICE for a long time – that it will be used as an anti-social force without accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was murder, and the murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted,” he said.
President Donald Trump, administration officials and congressional Republican leaders said Good tried to run over the agents with his car, but several Democrats noted that the video showed nothing happened.
“Watch for yourself and see for yourself which of these leaders is lying,” Ocasio-Cortez told reporters.
But Republicans have reaffirmed their support for ICE despite criticism from Democrats and the public over the killings.
“I want every ICE officer to know that their president, vice president and entire administration stands behind them,” Vice President JD Vance wrote to X.
ICE was also seen preventing a witness who claimed to be a doctor from attending to Good after the incident, telling the doctor that they had their own medical supplies on the way.

Good’s mother, Donna Ganger, told The Minnesota Star Tribune that her daughter lives in the Twin Cities with her partner and that the family was notified of her death Wednesday morning.
“That idiot” was killed, Ganger told the outlet after receiving details of the incident. “Maybe he was scared.”
Ganger told the newspaper that her daughter was not involved in the protests against ICE agents and described Good as “one of the kindest people I’ve ever known,” calling him compassionate and dedicated to caring for others.
