Minneapolis anti-ICE protests turn violent, man allegedly attacked with flagpole

A man was seen on video allegedly being chased into a Minneapolis parking garage and hit in the head with a pole by what appeared to be anti-ICE mobs, as violent protests continued Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis.

The group continued to follow the unknown man, who was walking towards the car in the garage to get out, and it is said that the pepper sprayed the wound on his head and hit him with his hands.

“I’m trying but you guys keep torturing me,” he told the crowd as his jacket was covered in blood.

A protester could be heard shouting through a megaphone, “Well, this guy needs medical help—he needs mental help. Bleeding is natural for Nazis, but he needs mental help.”

“F— you Nazi,” shouted the protesters as they followed him into the garage.

Another woman was heard asking if the man with the blood needed help, and she calmly replied, “No, I’m fine. Thank you, but I appreciate it.”

When he got into the car and sped away, the crowd slammed the doors and hit the car with poles.

It is not clear what led to this violent incident.

Earlier, a protester who was pardoned on January 6, Jake Lang, was seen in a video being dragged from a demonstration by protesters.

The footage shows Lang bleeding from the back of his head as he falls into the crowd surrounding him.

Lang, who was pardoned after participating in the January 6, 2021 riot at the US Capitol, was allegedly participating in the Americans Against Islamification (AAI) “Crusader March on ‘Little Somalia,'” with the intention of burning the Quran at Minneapolis City Hall, when the incident occurred.

Lang was seen in the video trying to get into the back seat of the Samaritan’s car, who appeared to be okay, when the rioters pushed the door back, kicking the car.

A woman in the passenger seat was heard telling the protesters, “We don’t know him, stop hitting our car.”

After this incident, Lang rushed to X, saying that he was also stabbed during the incident, but the driver who was wearing the plates stopped him.

“I WAS LITERALLY PASSED AWAY by an anti-white mob of liberals and illegal immigrants- I’m in the hospital right now getting the basics out of my skull… Nearly torn limb from limb in Minneapolis!!!!” Lang wrote in the post. “[Minneapolis Mayor] Jacob Frey [told] Minneapolis police officers to stand down, to look at me [b]being eaten live on national television!!!!! PRESIDENT TRUMP SEND THE NATIONAL GUARD They beat the White Christians in the streets!!!!!”

The Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) told Fox News Digital that it is aware of Lang’s social media accounts being allegedly hacked, but an official report has not been filed.

“MPD encourages anyone who has experienced harassment to report the incident immediately and provide as much information as possible, including the date, time, and location of the incident, a description of any suspects, and the nature and extent of any injuries,” the department wrote in a statement.

Meanwhile, anti-ICE protesters continued to clash with law enforcement outside the Whipple Federal Building, where agents were trying to prevent protesters from entering the facility’s entrance.

Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office patrol cars were later seen parked in front of the building, blocking the road, as it got dark outside.

Tensions flared earlier this month after Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot and killed last week by an ICE agent while blocking an operation in Minneapolis and driving toward the agent.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety announced earlier Saturday that the National Guard has been mobilized and mobilized to support local law enforcement and emergency management agencies.

However, the Guardsmen were not yet deployed on the streets of the city.

“Minnesota politicians have released approximately 470 criminal aliens back into American communities since President Trump took office,” the White House tweeted Saturday. “ICE works every day to remove the worst illegal criminals from attacking their country.”
