Primitive War 2
Variety reports the sequence of Primitive Warlast year’s movie about dinosaurs in the Vietnam War, is already in “late development,” and plans to shoot in Queensland, Australia, later this year. Described as the “darkest, most intense escalation” of the previous film and in some ways a “war epic,” the sequel concerns “a new US team sent into a volatile valley, where competing killing fields, dangerous rivals and secret Cold War agendas converge. They go beyond the battlefield.”
Cursed Dragon
Deadline reports Amazon MGM Studios has secured the film rights to Elise Kova’s fantasy novel, Cursed Dragon. “We are set in a fantastical world in the midst of the last human base to fight against dragons where every young person must survive brutal trials designed to separate the dragon hunters from the cursed dragon,” the story concerns “a young woman. [who] enters trials [while] hiding a deadly secret, putting him in the hands of a dangerous police officer assigned to watch him.”

Elsewhere, director Destin Daniel Cretton told Comic Book that he “wanted to do something that felt different” about Spider-Man: A New Daythe fourth MCU Spider-Man film and the eleventh since 2002.
All the creatives involved when I came on board wanted to make something that felt different. Yes, he’s still everyone’s favorite Spider-Man, but this is a new chapter in his life, and that change in tone was something I was really excited about. It felt really different, and it was an extremely satisfying experience.
