DENZA is opening a platform in the Philippines

Dealer recognition marks an important step in redefining the new premium power

Global premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand DENZA reinforced its commitment to the Philippine market with a dealer award and press conference on Jan. 22, which represents a decisive step for the official launch of the product and long-term growth in the country.

Bringing together leaders from BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, DENZA Philippines, and members of the local media, the meeting reinforced DENZA’s position as a leading brand shaped by ingenuity, refinement, and sustainable innovation – and its mission to build a profitable presence in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-moving markets.

Speaking about DENZA’s global direction, Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, shared how the brand continues to gain strength in international markets by redefining what modern premium means in the era of electrification.

“Across Asia-Pacific, we have seen strong momentum for DENZA as many markets embrace new energy vehicles. That experience gives us confidence in the Philippines, where consumers are increasingly sophisticated and ready to engage with a product that combines smart technology with refined design and luxury,” said Liu.

In the local market, Adam Hu, Country Head of BYD & DENZA Philippines Operations, explained the direction of the brand and confirmed its long-term commitment. He emphasized that DENZA Philippines is the only distributor in the region, with a clear strategy that focuses on sustainable growth rather than short-term volume.

Our role in the Philippines is to build DENZA the right way – with leadership, clarity, and a long-term goal. We are here not just to launch cars, but to create a premium brand that Filipino customers can trust and grow with over time,he explained.

Hu shared that DENZA plans to expand its sales area by 2026, and gradually introduce a wider portfolio of premium NEVs in all key vehicle segments. Each introduction, he noted, will be deliberate and consistent with the brand’s philosophy.

“The Philippine market is evolving rapidly and is ready for new premium exposure. It is our responsibility as brand leaders to introduce DENZA in a way that reflects local expectations while staying true to its global standards.”

A key moment of the event was the recognition of DENZA’s first partners, marking the foundation of the store’s presence in the Philippines. These include DENZA Alabang and DENZA Cebu, operated by ACMobility Premium Dealership Inc.; DENZA Makati, owned by Harmony New Energy Auto Service (Philippines) Ltd. Corp.; and DENZA Greenhills, owned by E-Vantage Motors Inc. Together, these partners represent the first step in building a premium proprietary ecosystem designed to support DENZA customers across the country.
