Days of Our Lives: Theo Discovers the Shocking Truth About Mom Lexie’s Death?

Days of Our Lives fans, we have some big horror stuff coming for Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). Now that he’s out of the hospital, the family felt like they were ready to learn that the remains of his grandfather Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) were the ones they found in the crypt.

But there is another big secret that has been going on for years. That is the truth about the death of Theo’s mother, Lexie Carver (Renee Jones). We’ll talk about why Theo is kept in the dark about his mother’s fate and how that will play into what’s to come.

And he even said that the FBI made double sure that the DNA matched those bones from Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and EJ.

So they have every certainty in the world that they are Stefano’s bones. Chad had woken up at the hospital to see Theo, but he didn’t tell them about what the FBI found. So, that left his father, Abe Carver (James Reynolds), to tell Theo about Stefano’s remains.

And later, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and Abe both agree that the truth about Stefano’s role in Lexie’s death will be too much for Theo to hear at this time. But I think it will come out anyway, especially since I’m becoming more and more convinced that her mother, Lexie, is the lady in Dr.’s test tube. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) is about to revive it.

So, Days of Our Lives history tells us that Stefano and Theo had a really close relationship. Stefano has never had a problem with Theo being neurodivergent. He treated him with love, kindness, and the master chess player Stefano even taught Theo the game and they played whenever they could.

And that’s why he still loves this game even now, it was because of Stefano. So in that, Lexie tried to protect Theo from Stefano’s dark side. And Lexie often fought over her DiMera inheritance and occasionally engaged in sketchy behavior while protecting Stefano and the DiMera family.

So, in the end, what Lexie had was a complicated and loving but also very difficult relationship with her father Stefano. He was beautiful. I will say that Lexie brought out the softer side of crime boss Stefano.

And later in her life, Lexie faked her death and went into hiding. But Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) kidnapped him, if you remember your history. And from there, he hid Lexie down in DiMera’s toxic, smoke-filled underground tunnels for many, many months.

And despite Andre snatching her away, Lexie was eventually rescued and reunited with family. But he had already been exposed to this poison for a very long time. And sadly, that’s why Theo’s mother developed inoperable brain tumors that took her life. If you were watching at the time, you may remember that Stefano felt a sense of responsibility.

He felt very guilty about Lexie’s illness which eventually killed her. And if it weren’t for all of the DiMera family’s scheming and Andre’s actions, it’s clear that Lexie wouldn’t be down the tunnel to be exposed to a toxic opportunity. So while Stefano didn’t directly cause Lexie’s death, he did bring Andre into their lives and those were DiMera’s channels. So he had an indirect hand in it.

And finally, Stefano got Lexie’s forgiveness before he died. She told Stefano that she loved him. And then Lexie died peacefully in Abe’s arms. That was June 20, 2012. She was just 46 years old and obviously left behind her loving husband Abe and her young son Theo.

Lexie and Abe were pregnant with Theo after a long period of infertility problems. And if you were watching back then, you know she was a devoted, loving, and very protective mother. Lexie and Abe both advocated for their autistic son, and always gave Theo the best life they could.

And then in the last weeks of Lexie’s life, she spent as much precious and precious time as possible with Theo and Abe. And of course, the loss of his mother had an impact on young Theo. But Abe and everyone in the family made sure to keep Lexie’s memory alive.

And that way, Theo might finally find his mother. But before Lexie is resurrected, thought to be the one in the womb, Theo may learn the terrible truth about his mother’s death and Stefano’s role in it. Now, recently, Abe and Paulina were talking about Stefano, Lexie, and Theo.

And Abe wondered aloud if he should tell Theo the truth about Stefano’s unwitting role in Lexie’s death. But Paulina shut that down and said that it might really hurt Theo to hear that. Basically, nothing productive can come of it and they have to let Theo keep his good memories of Stefano and his good memories of Lexie. And Abe agreed.

But we all know from watching soap operas that if someone works hard to hide a secret, it means that it will come out soon and this time many years have passed. Until now, Theo’s family and friends have kept quiet because most people know exactly why Lexie got sick and died. And Theo may soon find out the truth.

And you never know, she might hear it directly from Lexie if EJ and Dr. Rolf succeeded in bringing him back from the dead. If you remember, Theo was only nine years old when he lost his mother and later Days of Our Lives he raised his character. But when Lexie passed, Theo was an elementary school kid. So, I personally think it should be left up to Lexie to explain how she got the tumor that killed her.

But with Stefano’s upcoming memorial, anything is possible. I don’t think anyone would say something on purpose to hurt Theo, but it could come out of someone’s mouth carelessly, especially if things get controversial at the memorial.

You know, it could be Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) spilling the beans because he despised Stefano and is ready to dance on his grave. Also, this week, Chad tries to get EJ and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to play nice.

Therefore, one of them could just say something in memory while arguing about the family. One way or another, Theo will learn some hard truths about Stefano and the role he played in Lexie’s illness and death.

And it may be EJ who tells his nephew that Stefano wanted to make things right with Theo and explains that he and Dr. Rolf have been working to get Lexie back from Theo for years.

Will Lexie Carver’s Return Heal Or Divide The DiMera Family On Days Of Our Lives?

So, I think at first he might be angry at the role Stefano played in losing Lexie, but then Theo might actually be grateful if EJ and Dr. Rolf revived him on Stefano’s orders after all these years. EJ really cared about Lexie and seems to care for Theo as well.

So, this could be a big family bonding moment or it could be an explosive thing that tears the DiMeras apart. I think we will find out soon because it is the February sweep which ends on the 25th of this month. I suspect we could have seen Lexie regenerated then.
