In an age where everything is being rebooted, there’s one cult sci-fi series that stands out as worth a shot. V: Seriesshow of the eighties, has a strong enough idea that it could be a hit if it got the chance to tell its full story. Or, rather, another opportunity.

V it was rebooted once in the early 2000s, but that show never finished telling its full story. Isn’t it time for the audience to see how V should it end?

The Original V

V: Series centers on a rare invasion of Earth by carnivorous reptiles, the Visitors. Premiering on NBC on October 26, 1984, and airing until March 22, 1985, the series continued the story of its two predecessors, V again V: The Last Battle.

In the heart of V: Series the struggle between the Human Resistance and the full invasion of aliens on Earth. These characters are brought to life by famous actors such as Marc Singer and Faye Grant, who play Resistance leaders Mike Donovan and Juliet Parrish.

On the other hand, Jane Badler stands out as the evil leader of the guests, Diana. V: Series we also feature Robert Englund, famous for his role as Freddy Krueger, as Willie, the sympathetic Tourist.

However, despite a promising concept and talented actors, V: Series he faced a difficult journey. The challenges were many, mainly due to limited resources, a big difference in the small series that was going on. Audience reception, in particular, has been a significant stumbling block.

Unfortunately, V: Series it failed to find an audience, it fell short of the viewership needed to warrant its continuation. The result was an early cancellation before filming of the final episode began. This left the series unresolved, with no closure or conclusion to tie together the threads of an otherwise interesting narrative.

V It starts again

V: Series was returned by ABC on November 3, 2009, and ran for 22 episodes over two seasons until March 15, 2011. The story also revolves around an advanced alien species known as the Visitors, who present themselves as peaceful creatures but with a very threatening purpose.

Human characters changed during the second iteration of the V: Series. In it, the central character is FBI agent Erica Evans, portrayed by Elizabeth Mitchell. Other notable cast members include Morena Baccarin, Morris Chestnut, Joel Gretsch, Logan Huffman, and Laura Vandervoort.

Anyway happy mood, V: Series could not hold the interest of a large audience and was canceled after two seasons. Adding to the disappointment, it was also concluded without a proper ending.

The first episode of V: Series received high ratings, making it the season’s highest debut. Sadly, interest waned as the series progressed, leading to its eventual cancellation. Despite its failure to secure a large viewer base, the show was nominated for various awards, including the Creative Arts Emmy Awards and the Saturn Awards. Unfortunately, despite a campaign by fans of the series to save it, it was never renewed or canceled by another network.

When I look back, V: Series it stands out as an ambitious project that met a double fate. Interest has been shown in the higher structure of V: Series reflected in the success of the two miniseries that premiered and the ratings of the original reboot. It’s given another shot with some good creative energy behind it, maybe a new remake V he can finally get the ending he deserves.
