Your Kenny Rogers Roasters Chimichurri is helping the city eat healthier, too

Choosing a healthy option for lunch feels like a personal victory in life. But for Kenny Rogers Roasters, self-love can be a win for the community — especially for their own Farmvocacy system.

The fan favorite Chimichurri Solo B Plate has earned its reputation for being delicious and nutritious. But this year 2026, Kenny Rogers Roasters is making a direct investment in expanding urban agriculture by donating. P1 for every purchase of Chimichurri Solo B goes to the effort, to help scale sustainable food production and access to nutritious produce in underserved urban communities.

Five years of Farmvocacy

I Farmvocacy The program began as a Kenny Rogers Roasters program expanding urban areas. Now in its fifth year, it has become a long-term commitment to sustainability. It is no longer just about sowing seeds but cultivating independence, especially for people living in cities.

The success of the donation campaign in February pushed the program to strengthen its roots in the public school system in Metro Manila. In addition to strengthening two existing school farm sites, this funding also added three new partner schools: CP Teresa Elementary School, Pasay City Science National High School, and Mandaluyong Elementary School.

By partnering with these institutions, the program ensures that students don’t just learn about nutrition from their textbooks – they also find evidence where it comes from by growing their own produce and eventually making it a regular part of their diet.

“We’ve always believed that making healthy food choices should feel like a personal victory,” said Frederick Siy, President and CEO by Kenny Rogers Roasters Philippines. “But as we move into the next phase of the Farmvocacy program, we wanted to take that feeling even further – by making your healthy choices a success for all communities, and turning our stores into living classrooms. “

Agriculture You Can See and Taste

To make the program’s impact even more visible, Kenny Rogers Roasters is introducing a first in the Philippines: urban farms in the store. Located on Quezon Avenue and Southwood branches, it showcases the value of harvest to table in places customers are already familiar with.

The success of the program was also created in collaboration with Farmers in Urban Philippineswhich helps transform unused spaces into working gardens through community demos and learning activities.

The impact comes full circle in partnership with a non-profit organization, Wake Up Hungrymaking Mandaluyong Elementary School the main recipient.

With strong school farms, innovative in-store learning spaces, and a direct link to community nutrition, Kenny Rogers Roasters’ Farmvocacy The program proves that when everyone chooses to eat well, more people can, too.
