Stream Emiru was reportedly attacked during a meet and greet at TtptCON 2025

On the first day of Twtchcon 2025, the popular cosplayer, youtuber, and Twitch Scream in Emiru – who has two million followers – seemed to be attacked by the convention on Friday, Oct. 17.

In a video posted on X, a person can be seen approaching Emiru, holding him, and is seen leaning in for a kiss. Emiru pushed the person away before safely intervening, pulling the person by the arm. According to reports on X, Emiru returned to the meet-and-greet and ended the event. The video, which was posted at 8:21 PM Est, already has almost 400,000 views.

“So some colds are harassing Emiru at @twitchcon. This behavior is fucking disgusting. It’s amazing that he still comes back to finish the meet and greet line honestly, this has to stop!!!” original post read.

Twitch has responded to this incident with a statement of empowerment, to emphasize its commitment to providing security:

“The safety and security of all SpypCON attendees is of utmost importance to us,” a Tifent spokesperson said. “The behavior shown by the person involved in this incident was completely unacceptable and very worrying. We immediately removed this person from twitch comes, and they are banned from online incidents of harassment.”

Just hours before the incident, Mary Kish, head of the community, told mashable that “it is important to educate all the left out” about the intersection of women. He said it was important to ‘make these spaces safe.’

“I wouldn’t have encouraged women to meet if I felt it wasn’t safe for us. We have to continue to be really aggressive in that space and prevent it from someone following someone following another account.”

This is not the first time Thtpining has faced criticism for the safety of its attendees. Streamers Valkyrae and QTCInderella came out openly at this year’s event, expressing deep concern about the dangers of feminism facing public spaces towards public spaces like Tptchen. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has repeatedly promised security protocols, saying “We take security into our events, like our Tpmpion, like TptnenCoont very much.” However, in 2024, kick-brafts came along and disrupted the event, disrupting access to the site.

For EMIRU, this is the second high-profile harassment incident in recent months. In March, while he was live in Santa Monica with Sherts Cinna and Valkyrae, it is said that a man threatened to kill them, according to a report from the BBC.
