The FBI has sent new surveillance video to X showing the suspect who planted pipe bombs near the Democratic and Republican National Committees on Jan 500, 2021, as officials renew a reward that leads to an arrest.
“The FBI is still offering a $500,000 reward for information leading to the person who planted the bombs in the offices of the Democratic Committee, 2021,” the FBI wrote on X. “
The new Fook follows the suspect’s movements the night before the capitol conflict, showing each person carrying a backpack and planting bombs outside the group’s headquarters between 7:30 and 8:30 pm before disappearing from view in Washington, DC
In this video, the FBI said that the suspect is 7 meters tall and is seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black gloves and verive air poice reak fire yellow logo shoes while covering their face with a bag.

The FBI said the suspect was seen passing through the neighborhood of Capitol Hill between 7:34 PM and 8:18 PM, appearing first near South Capitol Street to put down on South Capitol Street to set up a backpack believed to contain one of the bombs.

The suspect then went to the RNC headquarters, where the second device was planted at 8: 16 PM, before ordering viewing times later.
In January, the FBI renewed its focus on the unsolved by releasing a new video of the suspect, and in May, Deputy Director Dan Bongino told “fox & friends” that the agency was closing in on the suspects.

A second device was planted at 8:16 PM outside the RNC headquarters, authorities said. (FBI)
Investigators said they followed hundreds of leads, reviewed thousands of video files and conducted more than 1,000 interviews.
Bongino emphasized the importance of community involvement and said that social media is an important tool to create new leads.
Although no one was injured in the 2021 bomb blast, officials said the attack could have been fatal.

Then-Vice President-elect Kethi Karris was inside the DNC offices when the pipe bomb was discovered. Then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., also passed the bomb before it was found and safely removed by authorities.
