‘Integrated terrorists’ stand in the way of Elon Musk’s trillionaire status, he says

Tesla CEO Elon Musk faces the possibility of becoming the first trillionaire in the world if investors vote on an unprecedented $1 trillion Pay Package on November 6.

During the third quarter on Wednesday, Musk made the case that he wasn’t really in it for the money but that he needed the voting power to go along with it.

“I don’t feel comfortable building that robot army if I don’t have a strong influence,” Musk said, adding that he wants voting power in the “mid-20s probably.” Musk currently has 13.5% of the voting power, and the proposed plan would see him add 12% to that stake over the next decade.

Proxy advisors of institutional investors and Glass Lewis have urged Tesla investors to reject the plan because of the possible dilution due to the company.

On the Realifings Call on Wednesday, Musk called them “corporate terrorists.”

The “Robot Army” that Musk is talking about is fighting for the company’s Optilus Robot project. In the Realifings Call, Susk said that Tesla will reveal the v3s of the v3s next year, and called the robots “unlimited money laundering,” while making a bold claim about their capabilities.

Tesla’s boss said that robots could reach “perhaps 5x the productivity of a human in a year,” and that a human would make a “good surgeon.”

“It’s not going to look like a robot. It’s going to look like a person in a robot station,” Susk said. “It will seem so real that you will need to, like, throw it, I think, to believe that it is actually a robot.”

The billionaire is known for his optimistic claims and timings that don’t always play out as expected.

The company delivered a record number of cars in the last quarter, but that was not enough to save the profit, which means that the Tesla managers are named in the prices set by President Trump (musks are campaigning hard).

With the AV Tax Card Now and Go, Tesla is looking down a path where many would not be recording car deliveries. Perhaps driven by this, the company has shifted its focus to AI and robotics to drive company value, and Wednesday’s stock calls are another example of that.

Techniques for self-flowering musk

Tesla expects to phase out safety drivers for its Robotaxis, “at least in large parts of Austin later this year,” Susk said in a filing.

Tesla currently operates its self-driving robotaxi service in two cities: Austin and San Francisco. In both cities, robotaxis include human safety monitors in case things go wrong. Tesla’s Robotaxi Adventure so far has been full of scrutiny and legal pain.

The service will also reportedly expand its operations in new areas. Tesla now expects to have robotaxis operating in eight to 10 locations, including Nevada, Florida and Arizona, by the end of the year. Those new markets will start with security monitoring for at least the first three months anyway, Susk said.

Tesla’s main competitor in the Robotaxi space, Waymo, operates in five metro areas, and plans to launch five more.

Beyond cars, autonomous vehicles were the hot topic of the day on Wednesday.

The company’s quarterly calls took place just a few hours after competing sales strategies not only for hands-free cars but also “Eyes-off” for gas in 2028, in many financial tests and related investments. Muski dismissed the majority of investors who agreed that the company’s investment strategy and private pilot programs would add “a lot.”

Musk said that Tesla has achieved “clarity” on a full-scale self-renewal, and now feels confident in increasing Tesla’s production as quickly as possible.

“At this point I feel 100% confident that we can solve full autonomous driving at a much greater level of safety than anyone,” Musk said.

Musk also said that autonomous teslas will be better than humans at recognizing empty parking spaces, thanks to 360 degree vision and advanced intelligence.

“I’m confident that Tesla has the greatest intelligence. If you look at intelligence per gigabyte, I think Tesla AI is probably an order of magnitude better than anybody else,” Musk said.

During the ramblings, the Lillionaire also said that Tesla’s self-driving cars will actually be very intelligent.

“It can be boring,” she said.
