Police at the University of New Mexico (UNM) tried a person suspected of trying to steal the point of the USA at a campus event and said “a shot in the neck for another reason,” referring to nearby conservation activist Charlie Kirk.

The man added that Kirk developed violence before taking the USA exchange signs. The video of the altercation in the USA was edited, so it is unclear what happened before he was arrested by the college police.

FOX News Digital has reached out to the University of New Mexico Turning Point USA Chapter and the University of New Mexico Police for comment.
A memorial service for Kirk was held on September 13 on the University campus.
The 31-year-old founder and CEO of Turning Point USA was shot and killed on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University during his return to America.

Since Kirk’s death, requests for new Tpusa chapters have poured in across the country.
According to the organization, more than 120,000 students asked to launch new chapters of high school and college churches in the churches killed by Kirk.
