Trump’s use of force against the cartels is correct

– For todayNow you can listen to FOX news headlines!

For decades, the United States has fought the war on drugs as if it were the only problem. It never was. There have always been national security implications.

After years of inaction, drugs now kill more Americans annually than all modern warfare combined. Fentanyl alone killed more than 100,000 people in 2021, a number that continues to rise despite billions spent on anxiety, prohibition and Poland. That is not a criminal nuisance. That is the most intense event in the country in the country.

President Donald Trump’s new approach is finally treating the crisis for what it is. By designating major drug cartels as terrorist organizations and authorizing the use of military forces against them, his administration has drawn a clear line between crime and war.

Cartels are not ordinary merchants. They are the power to control the fields, have different types of war and use fear as a tool to rule. In Trump’s words, they are the sons of “the Isis of the Western Hemisphere.”

Trump is sending the military after the Cartels and it’s long overdue

The numbers already support the policy. In the first weeks of operation, the new Homeland Security forces arrested more than 3,2,200 gang and cartel members, seized 91 tons of narcotics and seized more than 1,000 illegal weapons. Those bodies represent tens of thousands of American lives saved. Every boat stops and every shipment is counted as fewer deaths, fewer funerals, and fewer communities brought down by addiction and violence.

For a long time, Washington treated the Carchels as criminals who could be prosecuted and not enemies who had to be defeated. That method failed. Cartels are waging war in America for profit. They killed, chased and kidnapped while getting their hands on the riches held by intimidation and fear. They sidelined our neighbors and corrupt governments from Mexico and Venezuela. If America has the right to attack Al Qaeda and ISIS abroad to kill Americans, it has an equal right to attack Cartels that are killing Americans at home.

The legal basis is clear. In February 2025, the State Department designated Tren de Aragua, Sinaloa, Jalisco Nueva Generación, Ms-13 and others as foreign terrorist organizations. The September determination in September was officially announced that the United States is in conflict with other parties.

There is no Court challenging this policy because it aligns with International Family Law. When foreign networks deliberately kill American citizens, the President has not only the authority but the responsibility to act.

Teddy Roosevelt’s powerful lessons – Power, work, country

The moral case is equally strong. Just the culture of war requires just cause, competent authority, proportionality and last resort. All procedures are met. The cause could not be drug overdose in the United States killed more than 100,000 people in a consecutive year by 2023.

Years of law enforcement, education campaigns and international outreach have not reduced the killings. When negative means have failed, the government’s duty is to protect its citizens by all possible means.

Every fast boat in the Caribbean and every semi-sum-subsensible in the Pacific carries more than cocaine or methainetamine. Administers the body count of the American population. These are not fishing vessels. They are flies that have smuggled distances destroyed by foreign network wars with a profit in death. To treat them as anything less than to deny reality. The era of denial is over.

Critics say the military is running a risk. Cartels crossed this line long ago when they started killing, threatening and corrupting their way to power. These evolving criminal enterprises now function as shadow governments. Continuing to treat them like criminal syndicates would be absurd. In fact, it would be accepting defeat.

Mexico broke international law with the Cartels and Americans suffered the consequences

Trump’s exercise of power is not about revenge. It is about protecting the country. The Department of War, the CIA, the intelligence community, the DEA, the FBI and the Coast Guard are now united in a single demand to dismantle the American people.

Every strike on a drug boat denies the enemy advantage and saves lives. When writing Pete Hegseth said, each container destroyed represents nearly 25,000 Americans who died of healthy poisoning.

Economic competitors reaching small nations, producing hundreds of billions a year. They corrupt officials, weaponize immigration and flood America’s streets with narcotics. This is not commercial. Organized war for profit.

A government that fails to deal with such an enemy does not deserve the people who work for it. Trump’s use of military forces against the Cartels has been justified legally and morally. It causes excesses. The United States has every right to protect its borders, its citizens and its sovereignty against a network of foreign countries profiting from America’s death.

For decades, America has fought this war with hesitation and half-measures. Now it is put on purpose. This is not a new battle. It is the same thing that has been killing Americans for generations. The difference is, in the end, America is fighting to win.
