Most WTF reactions from ‘It: Welcome to DERRE’ EPISODE 1, counted

Halloween may only be a few days away, though It: welcome to deryThe first episode already filled my time fear gauge.

Titled “The Pilot,” the episode is full of late-night sequences, like the car ride from hell and the world’s worst trip to the movies. But which of PennyWife’s (Bill Skarsgård) scare tactics were the most effective, and which left us the most unsympathetic? We ran away from all the big WTF “Pilot” presentations to get.

5. When Matty’s fingers came out of the lily burn.

“The pilot” revolves around the disappearance of Matty (kilometers of khurdt), a friend of several delry talks including the “loon” lily Bainbridge (Clara Stack). In the scariest episode, Lily hears matties singing to her inside her shower pipes. After that, his toes appear in the drain before disappearing.

A sweet, but familiar image of It Followers. In Stephen King’s novel and the upcoming screen adaptation, Beverly Marsh experiences a similar Centric night when buckets of blood burst from her hole. When it comes to bathroom accessories, Beverly’s beat is clean in the water. It also emphasizes the most important safety tip for all young women of Derry: stop looking down your drains! Nothing good will come of it!

4. When men in paper masks attack Loroy Hanlon.

Dery’s children are not scary. Major Leroy Hanlon (Jovan Adepo) faces an attack on him while staying at Delry Air Base, as several men in gas masks enter his room and threaten to decompress if he reveals top secret information.

This attack seems to have nothing to do with PennyWife and everything to do with cold war concerns rising in Derry and all that follows us, seeing men above men, seeing hidden men looking at leroy’s alone.

3. When Teddy sees human skin of human skin.

Teddy (Mikkal Karim-Fidler) receives a truly pennyque visit from PennyWife, who shows up as a Lampshade made of human skin, complete with mouths that scream. A sequence of calls flashed back to Teddy’s earlier conversation with his Father, who describes the horrors of the Holocaust, including a human skin lamp at the Buchenwald concentration camp. (This same story is also a key point in Netflix’s The Monster: The Ed Gein Story.)

The robbery of the body on display in this scene upsets the trap, but what is more disturbing is the lampshade’s ties to the real tragedy of the people of the stars – and Welcome to DerryIt’s almost a blatant exploitation of grief. Teddy’s dinner with his family sounds like a Speedrun of Jewish stereotypes, with Welcome to Derry You have little to show for it other than discussions of Bar Mitzvahs and Holocaust Trauma. Lampshade Horror is a cheap burn over the top, and it’s enough to make viewers sick to their stomachs in more ways than one.

2. When It: welcome to dery he kills half of their children.

The entire sequence of “The Pilot” feels like a slap in the face. Last episode, Welcome to Derry it was setting up Lily, Phil (Jack Legault), Teddy, Ronnie (Amanda Christian), and Susie (Matilda Leault) as a sort of show for the Losers club. That idea is quickly thrown out the window in the final scene of the Pilot, where a child with wings (more on that later) tears well up, and carries Phil Off for Who Knows Who Knows Who Knows. It’s a fabric of blood through and through, and a reminder that no one is safe – especially not Dery’s children.

1. When the volume meets the worst car ride.

While the closing sequence may be the most shocking moment of “The Pilot,” it’s the episode’s opening that really raises the bar for any Welcome to DerryWTF-inducing horror moves forward.

In a certain situation, matty tries to hit a hitry. You think you’ve found a safe ride with a good family, but it soon turns out that couldn’t be further from the truth. From the measurement of spelling to brushing with a brush with a line of courage, the opening of the opening of an unpleasant argument before giving up the birth incident that shows the most a watermelon in the imagination. Everything reaches a fever pitch when a new baby mutant – a cold war expression of fear about the effects of nuclear weapons on pregnancy – begins to fly around the car, the Imbical Cord in the role. That’s not a distraction you read about ED drivers, but I’m afraid they need to start adding it to the curriculum.

Obviously in all the best and most disturbing ways, the whole place is one hell of a way to kick off the show. -What is it? Welcome to Derry rate their assignments in the coming weeks?
