Sydney Sweeney she was once told to “fix” her face if she wanted to make it in Hollywood.
In a new interview with Variety, the 28-year-old actress – who is promoting her upcoming film, “Christy” – recalled a moment in her career when she was advised to get Botox at the age of 16.
“I have strong eyebrow muscles,” he told the outlet, recalling the various audgets he secretly read. “And I had someone tell me to fix my face or else I’m not going to do it. I’m going to get botox.

Elsewhere in the interview, Sweeney opened up about navigating both Hollywood and the screen and explained how she’s been able to handle criticism for her looks.
“I’m definitely still a cut animal in a sense,” she told the outlet, while describing her character – serial boxer Christy Martin. “Working is my ring. It’s where I feel free. The set is where everything else is quiet.”

It is at the end of the film that Sweeney is faced with various challenges – including an ongoing discussion about his body.
“I play a lot of divisive characters, and I think a lot of people think they know me, but they don’t,” he told the outlet. “So, when people think, ‘Ah, you’re a sex symbol,’ or you lean on that, ‘I say, ‘No, I feel strong, and I feel strong.'”

“And I hope that I can encourage other women to be honest and just be proud of what they got and feel good because they don’t have to apologize or hide or cover any room,” she said.

In an interview with HeavenHer hair team, colorist Jacob Schwartz and hairlist Glen Coco, opened up about the change.
“Sydney wanted a change and wanted to have a big red carpet hair moment to support her new movie, Christy,” Schwartz said. “It felt like the right time to do something bold.”
“This is revolutionary,” Coco added. “Christy has many undertones of strength, transformation, and strength. Sydney herself transformed herself in this role, and I wanted to be inspired by her this year.”
