The Lakers’ Austin Raveves hit the game-winner vs the T’wolves

Los Angeles Lakers star Austin put together another magical season to start the 2025-26 season on Wednesday night – this time with a blowout of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
With over 6 seconds left in the game, the Revets received an inbounds pass down the court. He took out the election, crossed into the lane. He got to the foul line and put in a tackle. The ball was cleared from the net at the buzzer.

Los Angeles secured a 116-115 win as the ruves’ pumpable Lakers beat him. He finished with 28 points and 16 rebounds.
Charges admitted after the game that he “probably let it out a little bit” as he watched the ball go through the net and felt bad.
“What Tier is, I don’t know. I don’t care about that, but I think last year he established himself as a bad name,” said Lakers head coach JJ Redick. “Who is he.”

It’s a big win for the injury-plagued Lakers as they bet big on the legs, who seem to have made their mark in the NBA out of nowhere. He was an undrafted free agent who joined the lakers in 2021. He signed a four-year deal before the 2023-24 season and is making about $14 million this season.
But the team is counting on him for a ton of starts this season since they were without LeBron James and now Luka Donic.
Scored 51 points in the Kings’ win over the Sacramento Kings and had 41 points in the Blazers’ loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. The team moved to 3-2 with a buzzer-beater against Minnesota.
“The biggest thing that helps him is that he’s a leader,” Redick said. “That’s a big time. That’s what we need from him.”
The offense has shown how much defeat wins, especially the appearance of the playoff series last season when they had a chance to extend the game.

“To have that opportunity to win on the highway, especially with so many people out there, is special,” he said. “We kept going crazy, and they kept encouraging me to go and do what I do.”
