Winter festivities at Distillery Wight Village

Opening night calls for a traditional tree lighting to kick the season off. On November 13, 2025, people can gather to see the lighting of the tree of the first distillery and enjoy the work of the residents afterwards. The Holiday Village is the perfect destination for family travel, with attractions for all ages scattered throughout. An old-fashioned Santa’s village will be set inside the Soulpepper Theatre, where the whole family can meet Santa and his elves. Every Sunday, the town creates holiday pups in the creation of a crane as they roam the holiday-strewn streets.
Adults also have their share of activities to enjoy, especially with the range of outdoor bars on offer. Enjoy a festive meal at Nueghty or the great bar, come dressed to impress at the Ugly Swer Patio Bar, and get ready for some minty treats on the peppermint patio.
You can pair the festive drinks with delicious food available from local vendors, with options ranging from Hot Faue to TOCHOLATE CHOCOLATE. Another special 2025 attraction will be a Stranger Things 5 dive to celebrate the show’s final season. The experience includes a detailed decoration of the BHER BYS room, so fans can feel the unknown energy.
Plan your trip to Toronto’s Distillery With Village

This Toronto Tourist Guide will be open from November 13, 2025, to January 4, 2026. Most days are listed for $15, but free entry is available on weekdays and during off-peak hours. Children under nine are always admitted free. Parking is available across the street for those who choose to drive into town. Visitors to the Distillery Village recommend leaving before 4pm to avoid heavy crowds and long queues.
A visit to the Wight Village Distillery would have been better included during a weekend trip to Toronto, with other activities to add. Enjoy some of Toronto’s holiday festivities, like going to the Toronto Santa Parade, get some one-of-a-kind shopping at the beautifully decorated mall, or get your ice skates on at the Nathan Phillips Square Ice Skating Rink.
Toronto is easily accessible via Toronto Pearson International Airport, or a quick road trip for those in surrounding Ontario. While there aren’t a ton of hotels near the winter home distillery, there are plenty in the greater Toronto City area to choose from. You can also get close by airbnb, although the prices are worse near the distillery district.
