Original “Scream” actor Matthew Lillard criticized immigration and cultural coercion during a fan screening of the 1990s horror film on Friday.
Making an appearance at the Los Angeles Theater for the Halloween “Scream” event, Lillard took a moment to criticize the Trump Administration’s immigration enforcement and urged Angelos to respond with love.

Lillard, who is set to reprise his original “Scream” role in the upcoming “Scream 7,” also urged the crowd to vote in California’s upcoming special election.
“Yes, up to 50. You have to vote. If you don’t vote, we go down. So, it’s up to us. And if you don’t like it.”

Some celebrities have criticized Ice and President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda in recent months, as the law enforcement agency has stepped up its efforts to crack down on illegal immigrants across the country.

Country singer Zach Bryan’s feud with his rival when the lyrics to his song “Bad News” went viral in October got its Ice lyrics.
The controversy drew a response from Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who openly criticized the singer.
“I hope you understand that it’s a total disrespect to that song – not just in law enforcement, but in this country,” he said in an interview with conservative commentator Benny Johnson.
In a statement to FOX News Digital, DHS Assistant Precia Mclaughlin called Lillard’s statements, “a boring smear from scary movies without pedophiles invading our country and now living in innocent American countries.”
