As someone who has been involved in combating and managing marijuana for 15 years, I can’t let the amazing lies about the intoxicating hemp products taken at random. This is a very important topic for everyone involved in the regulated cannabis industry.

However, at the same time, I completely agree with Lou Rinaldi. There is a “strange Indony” playing on the Watch DC but let’s be honest about what it is.

Because of the 2018 Farm Bill, unknown, unsafe and unnatural hemp continues to flood the market.

THC-Delic Public Health Emergency

When dealing with the documents of Critical critical response, great growth in pediatric cannabinoid interpretation, too At least one death was tied up For the Hemp-8 product derived from DELTA-8 THC, law enforcement and elected officials are finally taking the public health and safety situation seriously. And yet the dangers are on full display every day at gas stations, convenience stores and smoke/oven shops across the country.

Now, as dealers in Congress finally push to close the unintentional loophole that fueled this emergency, the hemp industry is crying foul.

Advocates point out the devastating impact closing the loophole will have on many people and small businesses, such as the $5.5 billion Hemp Const outstanding in Texas alone. But in doing so, they simply dismiss the overwhelming evidence of serious consumer safety issues as “panic.”

This behavior doesn’t matter much. And directly opposes 39 international commorteysConsumer safety advocates at all levels, doctors, policy experts, academics, law enforcement personnel, regulators, legislators, and executive branch leaders are all sounding the alarm.

Consider the following recent examples of officials paying attention to this issue.

Governors and fairs agree: Hemp Products pose a serious risk to children

In Montgomery County, Pennsylvania last month, a grand jury was impaneled The 107-page report follows a 10-month investigation that revealed a “public health crisis” in which “vendors openly sell marijuana and thc products under the ‘EMP’

In line with previously published data, this report showed 94% of products marked as ‘farm money’ associated with the potency cap, the majority of sales were re-contaminated and intentionally sold cannabis products and new ones. “

Last month, Ohio Gov. Mike dewine of Ohio declared a “consumer product emergency” Alcoholic hemp products, he sees as the status quo “allow them to be legally abused by children, sold to children, and consumed by children in Ohio.”

Disclosures of Delta-8 and DELTA-9 THC products have doubled in the state in the past five years, with more than half of all cases involving children under 5.

And last week in Virginia, Gov. Glenn Yankia of Virginia announced The results come from a major conclusion to a high-profile federal investigation that revealed “extensive illegal drug activity and illegal weapons charges” at vape shops selling HEHP products “targeted at youth.”

The safety issues associated with hemp products are real, serious and extensive. They are well documented and supported by independent evidence – manufacturers.

Elimination is the only public health problem found

We were encouraged by the decisive action taken at the state level in places like California, which banned HEHP-based products with more THC than a year ago.

But it’s too late for Congress to act.

The 2018 slaughter of the farm was intended to legitimize “the ropes, not the donation.” Congress never intended to create a national market for cannabinoid products. Any claim to the contrary is ridiculous.

And for all the hemp supporters who can’t be discouraged by hemp-based products being offended by this, here’s a thought: stop.

Stop confusing law makers and the public with what is actually being done and sold. Stop whining about the prospect of taking enough precautions to ensure that those sold are safe for human consumption. Stop acting like petulant children because your gamble that the hemp hoophole might not close may have been a bad bet.

Be honest. Say you sell weed, marijuana, pot or cannabis. Please stop calling it hemp – What federal law ever said it had to be 0.3% thc or less – because guess what?

That’s not the case.

HEMP-derived thc threatens cannabis legally

A general market, the National Cannabis market is large enough for all types and sizes of businesses, large and small. But to be successful, there is no room for careless operators and unsafe products.

So in the “Hemp Photy industry”, step up and do things right or close your doors. Until you do, you are harming America’s children, threatening all of our communities and crippling our businesses that are responsible, safe and controlled businesses that are quality tested, well documented and labeled with trusted products from authorized people.

That’s the kind of market that many others and I’ve devoted a fair amount of time to building so generic cannabis can become a reality.

And in the end: Companies and people who hold business licenses have won rightfully and are kept following the compliance with the pain that there are no cartels or chardisessics. Far from it. They are competent and responsible citizens of the United States of America.
