The cast of Fast times at Ridgemont High features some of the biggest names from the ’80s, including Sean Penn (well-known A mysterious river) as the most memorable Stoner in Hollywood history. The movie also stars Judge Reinhold (well-known Beverly Hills Cop) as a documentarian who was trying to get a start in his career while finishing high school. Her younger sister is played by Jennifer Jason Leigh (well known The hateful eight), a curious girl who gets relationship tips from a slightly older woman played by Phoebe Cakes (well known outside of this movie Gremlins).

Now that I am very old, Fast times at Ridgemont High It seems like more of an illusion: Those themes still end, but there’s a hard-boiled joy to be found in going back to a time when the future was an endless stream of possibilities. Senior life is filled with countless responsibilities and more uncertainty than ever before.
