Barcelona President Joan Laporta has predicted that fans will be able to use the third Tier of the Camp Sout Nou at the start of next season. Work is currently approaching a two-year delay, with Barcelona seemingly under pressure to ensure the stadium is complete by 2028.
The blaugrana finally got a license to open the stadium to 27,000 fans in October, but they are waiting for a second license to increase that to 45,000. Until that day, Barcelona will continue to play at the Estadi Oliis Lluis Fiffs in Mondjuic. Laporta previously predicted that their return to the Nou Camp will take place on the 22nd or 29th of November.

The club is under significant financial pressure that the financial platform is completed by 2028, and their naming rights face Spotify under threat if this is not the case. Laporta ignores criticism of the delay
The Camp Nou is tipped to be one of Barcelona’s mainstays once they are done, but the delay has added to the Club’s debt situation
