Spain and Barcelona star Dani Olmo has opened up about his injury problems

Barcelona and Spain Star Dani Olmo was a key factor in their success during Euro 2024 and the 2024-25 season only got a small run of his good form with his return to his football. After another tricky start to the campaign, Olmo is now back fit and started Barcelona’s win over Celta Vigo.

Now with the Spain squad, Olmo will be hoping for a dynamic start, having started less than half of Barcelona’s games this season. With Fermin Lopez in Fette Fette, Olmo has increased the competition in its area in Barcelona and Spain, but now it feels like it is returning to the best.

“It’s good, it’s much better now. I just recovered and the discomfort took me out of the last team, and after playing three games with Barca, I feel like I’m coming back well,” he trained hard to get back to my best, “he found MD.

Much has been made of the fact that Barcelona have tried to put Olmo in a specific program after making a study of his muscle structure. The blaugrana did the same procedure with Team Pedri last year, which had strong results. Even though he’s down now, Pedri played 49 straight games before that.

“Well, there’s a plan, that’s clear. I’ve had some luck with some problems in my career, and I know I need them.

Olmo explained that he has a good understanding of the pitch and the work he does on it, in a bid to stay fit.

“Yes, all this is invisible work, work from the field. It’s something I believe in. You have to work hard in the field, but also have an impact.”

‘I’ve had more problems here than in my entire career

Olmo was also asked about the mental manipulation that takes a player when he can’t maintain his physical fitness. He admitted that his injury issues were worse last year than ever.

“Look, injuries are not pleasant for any player. It is something that I emphasize a lot now, especially at this time in Barca, where I hope to see me. I know what I can worry about in the future.”

Pedri also spoke about the peaks and valleys of injury recently, and Gavi is currently on the road to returning from a long-term injury now. Barcelona Manager Hansi Flick has been upping the ante since March due to injuries.
