The best Black Friday TV deals: under $500

The QM6K is widely regarded as one of this year’s best TVs. The best Black Friday TV deals: between $500 and $1,000
LG B5 (55-inch) for $897 at Amazon ($100 Aff): The B5 is LG’s entry-level TV for 2025. You get the main advantages of any Oled TV – high contrast, sensitive motion and more – but it doesn’t look colorful. (The C5 hasn’t been significantly reduced as of this writing.) The technology is limited to a refresh rate of 120hz instead of 144hz, though that’s not a big deal unless you plan to play TV games on your TV. While not a huge discount, this is like the lowest price we’ve seen on a 55-inch model. And on the best buy with LG.
TCL QM7K (65-INCH) for $800 at Amazon ($200 off): The TCL qm7k is an excellent step-up over the QM6K, with much improved contrast, contrast and color volume. It has a refresh rate of 144hz with 288hz @ 1080p support as well, although as a budget model it is limited to two HDMI 2.1 ports. And like most LED TVS, it can’t compete with a good OLED set when it comes to colors and viewing angles. This deal matches an all-time low for a 65-inch model. The best Black Friday TV deals: $1,000 and up

Samsung s95f (65-inch) for $2,298 at Amazon ($700 off): The S95F is a premium model that received almost vellar reviews almost prominently among OLED TVs while maintaining bold colors and comparing to the QD-aled panel. That light, combined with the matte finish, means that it is especially adept at finding light in a bright room. It also has a refresh rate of 165hz for games. That said, there’s no Dolby Vision HDR though, and the matte coating means that dark tones can’t stand out in a well-lit room. It’s not cheap, but this is the lowest price we’ve seen for a 65-inch model. Also at Samsung and Buy Good.
TCL QM8K (75-INCH) for $1,400 at Amazon ($600 off): If you’re willing to pay the OLED price but want the high contrast of a high-end LED TV, the TCL QM8K is worth a look. It won’t be as good in a dark room as something like the Samsung S90F or the LG C5, as its contrast isn’t as deep and the black isn’t black. Their viewing angles are obviously worse. But the review says that it still performs well compared to other LED sets, and since it is more difficult than many other OLEDs (especially for non-HDR content), it can handle the contrast better. It also has a refresh rate of 144hz with support for 288hz at 1080p, although it only comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, and it is not available in a smaller size of 65 centimeters. Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus for $25 at Amazon ($25 off): The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus offers the same basic experience as the more expensive Fire TV Stick 4K max, only with a slower processor, half the storage (8GB) and Wi-Fi 6 Support instead of Wi-Fi 6e instead of Wi-Fi 6e instead of Wi-Fi 6e. For most people who just want to stream more, those shouldn’t be too much of a loss. Just keep in mind that its Fire OS interface is clumsy and prioritizes Amazon apps over everything else. Amazon Fire TV Stick HD for $18 at Amazon ($17 off): The Fire TV Stick HD is a budget Sinind in our guide to the best streaming devices. It only streams in 1080p and runs a little choppier than Amazon’s 4K models because it has a slower chip and 1GB of RAM. The usual complaints with fire os still apply, too.
