Trump singles out Saudi Arabia as NATO’s biggest non-nato in new accountability

President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that the US will designate Saudi Arabia as a major non-nati, revealing economic ties to mohammed bin salman during the US 80 dinner.
Trump welcomed guests to an official dinner and thanked Bin Salman for his visit and investment in the US Crown Prince and indicated that he would cooperate between the US and Saudi Arabia.
Before announcing the new appointment, Trump was shown in the long relations between nations, recalling the 1945 meeting between President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and King Abdul Aziz.
“It is a special honor to receive his royal visit to Washington this year, as we mark the 80th anniversary of the first meeting between [a] The president of the US and the King of Saudi, “said Trump.” The two became close and warm friends … and now you have the best friend you’ve ever had. “

He added that since the US and Saudi Arabia have been “cooperatively motivated,” Tuesday night they were “making that partnership closer and stronger than ever.”
Trump said the Partnership reached a new level after a day of meetings and signings with Bin Salman. He praised the current state of Saudi Arabia, calling it an “economic engine and a miracle of today,” and said new deals in energy, minerals and artificial intelligence were “unprecedented.”
He added that Saudi Arabia had agreed to increase its investment in the US from $600 billion to $1 trillion – a move he said would create American jobs and strengthen the growing alliance.

“So that’s why tonight I’m happy to announce military cooperation even at the highest level by officially designating Saudi Arabia as a major non-ally, which is very important to them,” Trump said.
He added that the two countries had recently signed a “historic strategic defense agreement,” which he called evidence of the “powerful and highly skilled” that would serve “the highest interest of peace.”
This announcement followed Trump saying that Saudi Arabia would invest $1 trillion in the US, doubling the previous pledge.

“He said, I’m going to go up to $1 trillion,” Trump told viewers. “So you invest $1 trillion in the United States … and now you have the hottest country anywhere in the world.”
Trump also revealed what he called the largest arms purchase in history – $ 142 billion in American military equipment and services – will make our nations safer and increase the strength and security of the Middle East. “
The President said the New Defense Pact would make both nations safer and referred to recent US military operations using B-2 bombers against the Iranian nuclear threat.

“Saudi Arabia has never been as safe as it is,” he said. “You always have a little cloud over your head … that cloud is gone.”
After the announcement, Trump tied the deal to his broad agenda in Eastern Eastria, revealing the end of the war in Gaza, the return of hostages, and the UN resolution “his”.
“This is a board like no other,” he said. “There will be heads of major countries … and I was honored to be elected chairman.”

Bin Salman thanked Trump for his “warm and great welcome,” calling the day “special” and emphasizing the growing economic ties between the two countries.
The crown prince also said that he believes that this is a great opportunity and vows to focus on the use and expansion of opportunities between the two countries.

Trump closed by saying that the alliance marked the strongest moment in the US-Saudi relationship since Roosevelt’s meeting with King Abdul Aziz.
“One day, maybe we’ll talk about ourselves as two wonderful people,” she said. “Forget greatness – amazing is all right – but two wonderful men doing a great job for their countries.”
