State abandons hemp Thc vaccines, follow Federal ban

The Federal ban on Hemp Thc signed into law by President Donald Trump last week encourages states to stop hemp products and suppress them.
Lawmakers in Ohio are weighing a “Tentative Agreement” that would see proposed Hemp Thc regulations instead of a blanket ban that appears to be the support of GOV. 5.
And officials in Florida and Illinois are renewing calls to ban THC-derived thc after federal action.
Ohio moves to ban all Hemp Thc products after Federal move
Hemp Thc products are set to become controlled substances under Federal law in November 2026.
While some hemp operators say there is enough time to pass new laws – and that some products such as hemp drinks will be released – states are moving faster with stricter regulations than the $28.3 billion Hemp Conctor would like.
For example, the new hemp laws being considered in Columbus Ban all THC derived HEHP intoxicating products.
That includes low-THC THC beverages sold over the counter and in food and beverage operations, Republican State Rep. Tex Fischer told ABC-5.
Supporters of HEHP who want to control the products “lost” after Trump signed the federal ban, said Fischer, according to ABC-5.
That news is welcomed by Dewine, the October Order Office order banning Hemp Thc products is still being held up in the courts.
Dewine is asking state lawmakers to follow the lead of Congress, which postponed the redefinition of hemp under Federal law to close the farm called the Federal Shutdown.
“I would certainly trust that the easiest thing for the Legislature to do is to basically create a federal law and that way there would be no further confusion,” said Dewine, according to Stasthouse news.
Illinois authorities are pulling the hemp thc law after the Federal ban
Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker was threatening major action to enforce a THC-based ban in that country even before the convention.
Pritzker favors a regulatory bill that would require Hemp Thc products to be sold only through state-regulated marijuana dispensaries, similar to a law passed in California.
“I’m disappointed that the industry here didn’t want to accept proper legislation,” he said, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
“Now we’re going to end up at the table talking about the best way to move forward.”
And he can have a good time.
Chicago Mayor Brandon John Johnson drafted a proposal to regulate THC and THC products following the Federal ban, as reported by Chicago Child Chicago.
And the ban means state lawmakers will have a harder time passing separate hemp Thc laws, Stolota Rep. La Shawn Ford told the Block Club.
“The government allowed hemp businesses to expand, and now the rug will be pulled from under them,” he told the outlet. “The people who have invested everything in these businesses, will lose all of that.”
Florida Wants ‘Illegal Hemp Products on the Market’
And in Florida, where Gov. Ron Desantis surprised many with the closure of the proposed hemcon Thc in June 2024, the highest official of the Law of the Law to accept the movement of Congress.
Attorney General James Uthmeier, Desantis’ chief of staff who made several appointments this year, said Monday that “the full expansion is controlled by hemp,” according to the Florida Phoenix.
