A few months after losing his father, Nick Hogan teased a possible wrestling career.
Hogan’s father, Hulk Holk Hologan, died in July at the age of 71. Hogan was booked at several WWE events shortly after Hulk’s death, and he said he was very close to his father. “
Hogan took on NWA Star Byron Idol outside of a wrestling ring, leading to speculation that he could launch a career in the business.

When asked about getting into the ring, he didn’t exactly shut it down.
“You’ll never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you’ll never know,” he said. “I’m in really good shape right now. I’m cool. I’m not saying too much, but trying to stay in shape. It won’t hurt to leave a leg here and there,
The wrestler had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes an irregular and rapid heartbeat, and lymphocytic leukemia, a cancer that affects white blood cells, according to officials. His cause of death was a heart attack.
News of Hogan’s death came weeks after he was reportedly suffering from health problems. However, the widow, the sky daily Hogan, denied those reports at the time, saying that he was “strong” and recovered from the surgery.

He admitted in an emotional social media post that he had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed that we would overcome them. “
Hogan became a mainstay of what was then the World Wrestling Federation and spent decades in the business. He won the World Armpionships and was twice inducted into the Hall of Fame, first in 2005 and again in 2020 as a member of the new national team.
In 2024, he invented Real American beerhe was well-known for his walk-up music during his time as a wrestler. He also founded Real American Frenestyle, a wrestling promotion, in April 2025. Hogan made sporadic appearances with WWE over the years and made his last appearance in January 2025 in Los Angeles.

Hogan also dipped his toe in the political waters. He tripped over the President Donald Trump At the Republican National Convention and Madison Square Garden Rally last year.
He is credited with helping put today’s WWE on the map. Nations poured in throughout the sports world following the news of his passing, and WWE greeted 10-Bell “with a smackdown!” The day after Hogan’s death.
