Our favorite Merino wool T-shirts are on sale this Black Friday

Lovely healthy clothes The UBICE Merino company has kicked off a Black Friday sale featuring some of our favorite Merino wool garments. This is the end of the year for minound Merino (although you can sign up for a mailing list, which offers coupons and deals), and it’s a great opportunity to stock up your travel wardrobe with beautiful merino wool.

From casual, casual T-shirts, wandwear, socks, and oversized merino hiking pants, Ban has a little something for everyone. We scoured the area and found our few deals. So be sure to see our guide to Merino wool t-shirts, the best merino wool clothing, and the best base layers for great merino wool options.

What’s so great about merino wool?

Merino wool is great because it steals the sheep’s energy to keep itself warm or cool based on the temperature it’s in. This is a process commonly referred to as thermoregulation. Merino sheep have finer, softer wool than most people think of wool. The sheep developed this soft coat to keep them comfortable across the temperature range. The result is a fabric that is comfortable to wear next to your skin. For very soft grains, look for negative fabrics or ultrafine-anything 17 μM or higher t-shirts such as .

Fur is sustainable, too. One sheep can produce four to five kilograms of wool per year. While cotton has its place, and the occasional dress, Merino wooy is a wonderful fabric that is the cornerstone of my wardrobe. I don’t think you can have too many merino pieces in your closet, but they are not cheap, which is why we include these deals.

What’s so great about minound merino?

I love the unlined t-shirts because they are 100 percent merino wool, no synthetics involved. That means all the antibacterial, anti-aging, moisture-degrading, thermal goodness of meriano wool… it just works. I’ve found unshielded t-shirts in particular to dry very quickly and wrinkle, two reasons I think they’re the best merino t-shirts for travel. The company’s pants also have a very high percentage of wool (95 percent), and they roll well, making them very full. Do you need special travel clothes? No, but unprotected merino wool can resist odor-blocking, which means you need a few pieces in your bag. The company also offers a 30-day guarantee. If you don’t like it, you can send it.

How to care for meriano wool

Most Merino products come with care instructions. Minno’s merino t-shirts should be washed cold with similar colors, then lay flat to dry. Whatever you do, don’t soften them and don’t turn them off. The latter is particularly damaging. I do it on every wool T-shirt that tests me and it makes me sad, but I know some of you won’t listen and will do it anyway, so I have to know what’s going on. Do not steal thirst. Just put on a dry rack. It doesn’t take more than a day. Seriously, you spent $80 (on sale!) on a T-shirt, take care of it. Properly cared for, high-quality merino wool-like fabrics are durable and will last for years. Throw it in the dryer and the fluffing starts almost immediately.

Do I always lay them down to dry? No. When traveling I tend to wash my hands in the pool and get them on the bathroom sink to dry, which seems to have the worst effect. The problem with fur that is hung to dry is that it will absorb water weight. This is especially true for 100 percent merino, such as unlined t-shirts.

I have never had a problem keeping Merino in my closet between clothes, but for long-term storage, I recommend that you take precautions against moths, which discourages eating holes in the wool. I lost the merino wool in the bulls. I make sure to wash and dry whatever I’m saving, and tie it in a disposal bag. Another option is to put your merino wool in a cotton bag or alternatively wrap it in cotton and put it in a plastic bin. It is very important that you make sure that the garment is completely dry before using any of these last methods, otherwise your wool will smell fanty and mould. Other options include keeping your clothes in a cedar chest, which is a good natural barrier for moths, or using moth traps or lavender sachets, which will reduce moths.

Unsecured T-shirts were my introduction to the brand, and are one of my favorite T-shirts. This scarf is incredibly soft, and because it is 100 percent merino wool This depends on the local temples, what you are doing, etc. I also like that the cut of the unlined merino t-shirt is not overly technical, like most merino t-shirts. This is just a regular T-shirt, with a style that doesn’t make you look like an alex honnold wannabe. It’s lightweight and packs down into a small pouch, perfect if you want to keep it simple in one bag (really, is there any other way to travel?).

The last thing I like about this is how fast they are. In most weather conditions, you can give it a bath in the pool at night, wrap a towel, dry it, and put it on the floor. Speaking of which, unsecured T-shirts need a little encouragement. To help them last longer I recommend hand washing and drying with a cord. Also note that while I love the Merino Crew neck, the V-neck is also on sale for $80 ($10 off).

Revamped travel pants

Merino hiking pants are a light and comfortable merino blend, with a lot of stretch and freedom, thanks to 5 percent aclastane. These have a more formal look, and you may be able to pull off an office in them, depending on your office and your definition of “business” business alone. I’ve been dressed in fancy restaurants without a second look, and yet they don’t pay “I’ve got money” when you stumble back to your hotel room at 2 in the morning.

As you would expect from anything passive, this packs down very little. You can pack two of these for every pair of jeans. Also, for big travelers who want to live without a single carry-on bag, it’s great. The only downside is that this is on the small side, not something you’d want to wear alone in cold weather. If you’re like me and have to deal with the winter, throw a nice down layer under it and you’ll be fine. A slim fit pant is also on sale if that’s more your style.

Travel Pest T-Shirt Bundle

One of the best ways to save on merino tiles and pants is to bundle T-shirts and other combo packs. Right now you can get the Travel Pants + T-Shirt Bundle for $270 ($48 off). That saves you an extra $10 by buying the T-shirt and pants separately. There are a few other bundles as well, including a T-Shirt 3-Pack for $220 ($50 off) which is $20 cheaper than buying three T-shirts on sale, and a boxer shift pack for $75 ($15 off).

I know what you’re thinking: Fur underground, isn’t that what the nineteenth century sectors wore? Maybe. Those lumberjacks were smart. Maybe they didn’t have the soft merino hats under the underwear, but at least they know that the wandwer of the type of underwear is warm without heat, and it has the ability to smell. Women’s underwear is also sold; Editor Adrienne tried so. The fabric is a lot and even came in dry without cleaning throw away.

These no-nonsense boxers are 84 percent merno wool, 12 percent nylon and 4% spandex, for a soft, supple, comfortable fit. They are 180 GSM (see the merino guide for merino is what GSM means), which makes them nice and shiny. Inseac La here is 5.5 centimeters, and there are no marks, which is nice.

Ultralight Travel Backpack

The insulation has just been added to the outside of the Merino cloth to create this travel bag. I haven’t had a chance to test this properly yet, but I’ve been using it for a few weeks and so far I’m impressed. This is a well-thought-out package that strikes a good balance between included organization, and leaves enough space to allow you to do your editing. I really like the pen holder and the tech bag. I also like that when you don’t need it, it fits well in the bag. It’s surprisingly impressive for its size. At 15L, this is not a large pack, it is designed to be an addition to your main luggage with enough room for everything you need for the day.

Long-Sleeve Merino Crew

I prefer short sleeve T-shirts, but if you want a long sleeve, this is your T-shift. A short sleeve T-shirt with a secure fit, just a long sleeve. All the same definitions apply here, and many of the same components of most packages are available. You can grab a 2-pack of Medino Long Merino Tees for $180 ($46 off).
