Authorities in Pennsylvania revealed Tuesday that a surveillance video captured a Lululemon smash-and-grab, with two masked men using a hammer to break in.

The suspects, who were seen grabbing merchandise during several of the thefts, reportedly fled the scene in a U-Haul truck, Lower Merion police told Fox 29 Philadelphia.

The incident at the Ardmore shopping center reportedly happened just before 2 a.m. Tuesday and resulted in what investigators believe is more than $5,000 worth of stolen merchandise.

In the video released by the police, the two masked suspects, dressed in all black, swinging something like a hammer and entering the shop’s gate with a window. They quickly ran into the open space without hesitation, quickly heading for the winter coats and shirts in the men’s section.

The suspects appeared to have taken all the jackets and sweatshirts before going back outside. The video then shows the men returning to the store a second time after leaving the stolen items to pick up other items.

In total, the videos show the robbery lasting about five minutes.

The people fled the scene after loading the stolen goods into the bed of a U-Haul van that was parked outside, Fox 29 reported.

By afternoon, the store was open, but the glass on the front door remained shattered, and a large banner was placed in front of the door, a local station reported.

According to store staff, Tuesday’s incident was not the first time a Lululemon store has been targeted.

“I came out here with my dealer and we looked, and it’s scary that it’s happening across from us,” Gina Picciano, general manager of Lola’s Garden, told Fox 29.

In last year’s incident, Picciano said the item was stolen during shopping hours.

“Suddenly a crowd of people came out armed, so it happened in the middle of the day,” he added. “It doesn’t matter if it’s night or day, and that’s crazy.”

Lower Merion police told Fox 29 that delayed alerts can impact response times, emphasizing crime prevention and working with vendors.
