A prominent leader of the Aryan group was jailed after he was stabbed to death last week in Salinas Valley State in Monterey County, authorities said.
Todd “Fox” Morgan, 57, was attacked Thursday morning in a recreation yard with three inmates, officials from the California Department of Information said in a statement.
Authorities identified the attackers as 56-year-old Robert England, 61, and Ray Waldron, 51, who were all convicted of murder.

Waldron, who came from the Mongol Storcycle Club, is serving a life sentence for the shooting of the Rivals Hells Helds, it was said in 1993.

The motive for Morgan’s murder is unclear. A law enforcement source who was not authorized to speak publicly said that authorities had previously noticed that Morgan was in trouble with other members of the Aryan Brotherhood.
Morgan has been serving a life sentence since 2002 for robbery, burglary and a firearm as a felon, a conviction for the third strike, prison officials said in a statement.
In 2020, agents from the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives tracked the phone of Morgan’s right-hand man, Kenneth Bash, according to the agent’s federal court filing. Agents found evidence that Bash, who was held in the Salinas Valley with Morgan, was working with members of his Fresno-based gang, the Fresnecks, to sell drugs, obtain firearms and manipulate Morgan’s decision.

Authorities intercepted text messages indicating the smuggling of methamphetamine, heroin, cellphones and bottles of Jack Daniel’s whiskey and patron tequila into the Salinas Valley, the agent wrote in an affidavit.
Under the cover of darkness, a small image is used to use the back way of the road near the prison before throwing a pillow over the walls. The prisoner took the lump and ran towards it.

Using a wiretap on Bash and Morgan’s phones, ATF agents also heard talk of finding a man who was accused of sexually assaulting relatives of a member of the artyan fraternity.
In a recorded phone call with Bash, a member of Aryan’s child Jehovaoliningioning, whose name was redacted in the affidavit, admitted “.” After telling Bash he needed a gun, he got a call from Morgan.
“We’re trying to get something from you,” Morgan said on the phone, according to the agent’s affidavit. “Don’t you have anything now?”

Bash and Morgan’s rackets eventually led the ATF to investigate other members of the Aryan Brotherhood, including Kenneth “Kenwood” Johnson, Francis Clement and John Stinson.
After the case in Fresno this year that revealed how the influence of the old brotherhood had spread on the streets of California, Johnson, Clement – all prisoners nearby – were sentenced to life in Godgeral prison.
Morgan pleaded guilty in 2021 to conspiracy to sell methamphetamine and heroin and was ordered to serve nearly 22 years in prison. But instead of being transferred to Federal Stonedy, Morgan returned to the prison where he started his drug trafficking schemes – Salinas Valley.
