The chancellor of Syracuse University expressed his belief that pro-Hamas, They are anti-Israel were encouraged and may have been emboldened by Iran when they spoke on a panel this week in Washington, DC
Chancellor kent syverid he spoke on the panel Tuesday alongside the chancellors from Vanderbilt and Washington University in St. Louis and described the protest work that took place on his college campuses and in other countries across the country.

The Syracuse executive also discussed the difficulty of holding people, including students, accountable for using face masks or coverings that are intentionally used.

Chancellor Daniel Diemeer of Vanderbilt, Nashville, also revealed clear communication and the “Playbook” of protests was supported by “organized networks” that target and disturb the campus.
“[Students] they were looking [and] they were using the playbook they had seen at Columbia and elsewhere, and it was the same message. It is more than social pollution, “explained” dimeermeier. “I think there are organized networks. And we certainly saw that.”

“A lot of things that happen on our campuses, including attempted camping, we don’t allow them to happen and in the end they are killed by people to burn it on Saturday evening,” added Martin. “Three-quarters of those people are not affiliated with the University.”

Columbia faced a large number of protests it often happensor just outside the college gates since the university has changed the rules that allowed previous exhibitions.

Syracuse University did not respond to a request for comment.
