Badlands Is Coming Home Next Week

It’s been a great year A hunterin the midst of an animated epic Killer of Killers again The BadlandsThe team action makes it one of our favorite movies of the year. But if you were a late fan, then there’s good news—Dek and Thia will be coming home soon.

This morning 20th Century Studios announced that Predator: Badlands it will finally release digitally next week on January 6, before a wider home release the following month in February.

Starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, The Badlands follows young Yautja Dek (Schuster-Koloamatangi) as he ventures to the hostile land of Genna in an attempt to prove himself to his father and family by slaying a deadly monster. Encountering Weyland-Yutani’s critically injured Android upon arrival, Thia (Fanning), the unlikely couple find themselves teaming up to escape both Genna’s dangerous plants and animals and long-term access to Thia’s creators.

As well as the film itself, the domestic release of The Badlands it will come with a lot of goodies, including an audio commentary of the film led by director Dan Trachtenberg, features about the film’s approach to Predator culture and the creation of the world of Genna, and, of course, many deleted scenes.
