It’s time to load up on Halloween candy, and while you’re at it, why not start a holiday wish list? Black Friday is just weeks away and every year it seems like retailers start dropping prices earlier and earlier. That means some of our favorite products could start seeing discounts soon. And what am I happy about? Portable power stations, of course. In particular, I hope to see new lower cooler prices on the anker solix C1000 and solix C1000 Gen 2.
Why We Love the Anker Solix C1000 and C1000 Gen 2
Both Amper Solix C1000 models provide a little over 1,000Wh of power from a long-lasting battery that can last for ten years. The Port options on both the solix C1000 models are good and give you multiple options of AC, USB-C, and USB-a.
Both models are ideal for weekend camping trips or for keeping around the house in case of a power outage. You will be able to keep phones and laptops charged in them, but you can also use them for string lights in the camp room or to provide a coffee maker.
At home during a power outage, both models will be able to keep the wifi router powered on so you can stream the output of your favorite Netflix series, rather than worry about saving the phone’s battery.
The original solix C1000 has the advantage of a built-in lightbar and an additional ac port. The new solix C1000 Gen 2 is lightweight, compact in size, and quick to reload.
In addition to using a portable power station while camping or during power outages, I find the solix C1000 to be useful when visiting my family’s house during the holidays. A 1950s home does not have as many energy outlets as modern homes do these days. That means it’s hard to come by in some situations. Instead of plugging my phone into the charger in the room, I pack the solix C1000 Gen 2 and use it as my nighttime charger, plugging in my phone. It’s also great for pairing with a laptop when working in bed, not that I’ve ever done anything wrong like that.
Since the solix C1000 Gen 2 can regenerate back to 100 percent in about 50 minutes, it doesn’t take much time to recharge.

During Amazon’s Prime Day event, we saw a record low price on the old (but awesome) solix C1000. That sale brought the price down to just $379, a huge savings of $420 compared to the list price of $799.

The new solix C1000 Gen 2 was left out with low prices on October Prime Day but not long after the sale ended, we saw a record – low. The all-time low price for the solix C1000 Gen 2 remains at $379.99 from Oct. 20.
Black Friday Deal We hope to see on Anker Solix C1000 and Solix C1000 Gen 2
Since both are great models and both have an all-time low price of $379.99, I’d be happy to see them drop to this price again. Of course, lower would be better, but this amount of power and convenience for $ 380 is worth the price, if you ask me. If you see any of these models fall below $ 379.99, I would highly recommend clicking “Buy” as soon as possible.
Keep in mind this would make a wonderful gift for that friend who lives in a tent or PAL who works in the backyard a lot and runs over tools falling all over the tools.
