Conspiracy theories have become more of a harmless pastime for some people. They go down rabbit holes online and choose their facts against reality. For them to benefit from the conspiracy, everything revealed to them only reinforces what they believe, becoming part of their identity.
“Bugonia” is a sign of the times we live in.
Yorgos Lanthimos’ latest – English-language remake of the South Korean flick “Save the green planet!” – It follows Teddy Gatz (Jesse Plemons), a paranoid beekeeper and pocket scanner for pharmaceutical executive Auxolith, who plans to kidnap CEO Michelle Company (who holds a stone he thinks is hell-bent on destroying the world.
Fortune’s review is ‘good
Jesse Plemons stars as Teddy in Director Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia, a feature-length thriller. (Atsushi nishijima / Features of Focus.)
Fuller is the employer of elizabeth holmes-summer – she is heard crying to her employees, always wearing the same white blouse and black jacket as seen in several magazine photos and edited photos.
Teddy is a leader in his own right, too. He’s a “human being” as he calls himself, two if you count his cousin Don (Aidan Delbis), who serves as a loyal henchman of sorts. Don expresses his concern about being caught, to which Teddy assures him, “Ain’t nobody in the world gives a F — (about) me.”
Hiding in the comedy machine Jennifer Aniston Paper Masks they found in the store, Teddy and Don do a job and a full attack (they put up a good fight, briefly) outside his house and bring him back to his part in the middle of nowhere. Teddy orders you don’t want to shave the hair of an ignorant Fuller. Her hair helps her communicate with her home planet, of course.
‘John Candy: I Love Me’ Review: A loving tribute to a soon-to-be icon

Emma Stone Stars as Michelle Feller in Director Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Bugonia,” the main feature. (Atsushi nishijima / Features of Focus.)
Since Fuller is tied up in a basement, often remade by TETDY and dressed in suits as they are still in the high-class district. Teddy wants to include him in his son, accusing him of killing his family, co-workers and bees.
Full of humor he keeps his business cool, telling Teddy, “I understand where you’re coming from, but I respectfully agree.” The super-powered Honcho also warns him that the police will come after them, saying that his bearing is like that of a ruler, “but worse.”
‘Beating Machine Review’

AIDAN DELBIS as Don and Jesse Plemons as Teddy in Director Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Bugonia,” featurettes. (Atsushi nishijima / Features of Focus.)
The dynamic between teddy and don is cool. Teddy confuses himself with DONG’s Protector (DON, like Delbis in real life, is autistic). He promises people who don’t think he’s a hero if they do their plan, but they don’t give a damn as he expresses obvious doubts about Teddy’s story.
“Bugonia” Marks the Fourth Collaboration of Lanthimos – He won his second Oscar for negative 2023. Naturally, she excels in the role of Michelle Fuller, the out-of-touch boss who changes her strategy in hopes of escaping deportation.
‘One War After Another’ Review: Leonardo Dicaprio goes for laughs on politically charged ride

Emma Stone Stars as Michelle Feller in Director Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Bugonia,” the main feature. (Atsushi nishijima / focal points.)
However, the film belongs to his star. Despite not being a household name, Jesse Plemons has had an amazing career. Oscar nominated himself, the tragedies appeared in more than half of the time we created high-profile images – films in the last ten years, but the audience can see him more in his origin ” Here, the tragedies give his greatest performance as a man who is very disturbed in the pursuit of what he thinks is a good goal.
Lanthimos has become one of my favorite movie lovers. Telling his unique stories combines subtlety and fades with power and beauty (see “Lobster” (2015), “what you like” (2018), “Poor things” (2018), “Negative things”, “Negative things”, reveal his narrowest path.
Helping the Greek Director is the magnificent camera of the cinematographer Robbie Ryan – twice Oscar – chosen “” and lovely things “and” bite sypperplay from tracy. English Corcoser composer JeSSkin Ferrix delivers the perfect score like a hot wave when you least expect it.

Decision:
“Bugonia” is a twisted satire that draws the deceptive power of Concuracy culture into today’s discourse. Gritty, exciting, and dark, Lanthimos’ latest may not be his crowning achievement, but it’s another solid item in his filmigraphy.
