California’s role in shaping the fate of the democratic party is shown

California’s ability to lead to a national democratic return was on full display as party leaders from across the country gathered in downtown Los Angeles.

But is the party ready to bet in the Golden State?

Appearing at a meeting of the Democratic National Committee on the Democratic National Democt, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Gavin Newlom, they lament the dangers and promise of California’s allure. The two Californians elected by the President, Republicans Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon. But that was generations ago, and Harris and Newshore are considering bids to end the decades-long drought in 2028. The two took a minute with the leaders of the Democratic National Committee’s three-day caucus that ended Saturday.

Harris, speaking to committee members and guests on Friday, said the party’s defeat in statewide elections in November shows the effects of Trump’s policies, on luxury and health care costs. But he pointed out that “both parties have failed to hold public trust.”

“So as we plan for the future after this supply, we can’t pay for what was there, and the system failed a lot for you,” said Harris, who had failed a lot after the kitchen table problems due to not focusing on America.

While Harris, who launched a run for governor earlier this year, didn’t rule out another bid for the White House in 2028, he said the party needs to work on its future.

“We need to answer this question, what comes next for our party and our democracy, and in doing so, we have to be honest, that the American dream has become such a myth,” he said.

Many of the party leaders who spoke at the meeting focused on the role of California in determining the control of the administration of Congress after proposing DRMETAST districts to be chosen for the power of the government in the 2026 elections.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass addressed the crowd by reminding that the Democrats took back the US House of Famelis during the first term of Trump during the start of this year’s elections.

“He’s really trying to bring people together in a very difficult time,” said Darling, who grew up in Sacramento in a Republican family. “He gets a lot of talk about talking and working with Republicans, but when he does that, I see him talking to my Mom and Dad who I love, I think we need to talk to each other.”

Darling said she listened to the New New New podcast, where the guests are chosen, and her comments towards the end of that athlete participating in women’s sports “have it” drew the ire of some on the left.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, another potential presidential candidate whose family has historically supported News Newrow, was reported on the site Thursday, holding closed-door meetings. The narrative of Californians able to connect with many Americans has been frustrated this year amid the state’s battles with the Trump administration’s alternative management, climate change, and artificial intelligence policy. “I’m very proud of California.
