Days of Our Lives: Lexie Raised from the Dead – Big Consequences Coming to Salem!

Days of Our Lives confirms that Lexie Carver is the woman in the human portrait, as we suspected. And they repeated the role. It was Renee Jones who played the role but they have set Lexie’s age back by 15 years. Now, he is just 8 years older than his brother EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

And if Lexie lives, there will be a huge fallout that affects all of Salem. We’ll dive right into when Lexie wakes up and what soap drama ensues during the fallout from this epic EJ and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) was made with the help of Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).

Days of Our Lives: Lexie Carver Resurrected

All this time we suspected that EJ and the mysterious lady of Dr. Rolf would be DiMeras’ sister who was presumed dead, Lexie Carver. Who really is, the wife and soulmate of Abe Carver (James Reynolds). And mother to Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).

Well, recently, Rolf and EJ revealed the woman in the pipe to Gwen and she predicted that getting Lexie back would change a lot of lives. But EJ said it will be in surprising ways. But not good for everyone. Especially not Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), who is a major thorn in EJ’s side.

So, we will see Lexie’s face soon when they finally show fans who is in the person photo. And then he will wake up soon, almost 14 years after he died of an inoperable brain tumor. Despite how much hate he received from the other DiMeras, you may remember that EJ was one of the few DiMeras Lexie trusted.

EJ’s Love for Lexie on DOOL

EJ helped Lexie complete her bucket list when she learned there was no hope of surviving her brain tumor. EJ always felt guilty about the DiMera tunnel poisoning that caused his death. So, it’s no surprise that EJ has Rolf who wakes up his favorite sister.

Dr. Rolf said Lexie should be waking up any minute now. He has returned to the land of the living and his mental function is good. They just need him to open his eyes. This week, EJ spends time with his sleeping sister, gently stroking her head. And introduce someone to Lexie.

That’s the first place to start with the amazing fall to come from this wild thing that EJ, Rolf and Gwen made—this life-giving miracle. An improved awakening serum that hopefully avoids all the side effects of some of the earlier versions Rolf developed.

Paulina Price’s marriage to Abe is in jeopardy for days

So first, let’s talk about the side effects in Lexie’s wake. Especially this will hit Abe’s current wife, Paulina. At the end of this week or early next week, I suspect EJ shows a surprised Paulina into a human pod.

She knows that Lexie’s awakening will probably end her marriage with Abe. How could it not? Currently, he is happy with the life he has with Paulina and their blended family of Lani Price (Sal Stowers), Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), and Theo. But Lexie and Abe were soul mates, madly in love at the time of her death.

For Abe, it’s been 14 years. For Lexie, it will feel like 14 minutes. He expected Abe to be with him. And I bet Lexie will fight for her man. But Paulina must know that this is bad for her marriage. And if she tells Abe that EJ set Lexie up to ruin their wedding, I’m not sure Abe will care.

Or he might not like Paulina to do this for him. What matters is EJ waking up Lexie because he loves her. But EJ will also enjoy hurting Paulina because she has been hurting for a long time and she sees her son and grandson when EJ is locked up.

Abe Carver Torn Between Two Loves in Days of Our Lives

As for the downfall of Abe’s life, it’s going to be very difficult—a mixed blessing kind of situation. He’s happily married to Paulina, but Abe has been resentful because she encouraged Theo to pursue CEOship. The DiMera Company.

Abe knows that Lexie would not want Theo to work for her father’s company but Paulina was not impressed with that. Bringing Lexie back to life is part of EJ’s elaborate plan to fire Theo from DiMera and try to keep his son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), to run the show as CEO.

While Lexie may want Theo out of DiMera, I’m not sure how she’ll feel about EJ and Abe’s scheming. But then again, he might not mind if it keeps Theo safe Days of Our Lives. I expect to see Abe sad because he loves Paulina but he would still be with Lexie if she hadn’t died. This will be difficult for Abe.

Theo Carver Gets His Mother Back

And of course, the biggest fallout comes from Theo. He was just nine years old when his mother Lexie died. And even though he really likes working for Stefano DiMera’s (Joe Mascolo) company and representing the DiMeras, Theo might quit if Lexie asks him to.

Since Theo almost died at the hands of his uncle, Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier), he may decide to value his time with his resurrected mother again if Lexie wants him. DiMera, Theo may leave. And I’m sure Lexie will be impressed with Theo’s handling of autism and other issues.

EJ’s Motives Will Be Questioned on DOOL

Now, let’s talk about the logic behind all of this—EJ organized this research and resurrection to bring his sister Lexie back to life. But EJ doesn’t know how Lexie will react to being woken up. I’m sure you’ll enjoy more time with Theo and Abe.

But Lexie also won’t want to be a pawn in DiMera’s power game. So, while I’m sure EJ is bringing this up because he wants his favorite sister back and wants her to live with her son, Lexie will probably smell that EJ has other motives, some of them bad.

The Carver-Price family is devastated by Days of Our Lives

In the end, the entire Carver-Price family will be devastated. Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) return to Salem soon, maybe ASAP once they find out Lexie is alive. Lani loves both her parents. But you know how much Abe made Lexie sad until she fell for Paulina.

In addition, Chanel is at high risk of pregnancy and wants her and Johnny to have nothing to do with EJ. And while Chanel may be happy for Theo, I’m sure she’ll tell Johnny that EJ planned all of this to target his mother Paulina.

I can’t wait until we see Lexie open her eyes and start her second chance at life in Salem! Hopefully he doesn’t have amnesia and it will be like he just nodded off to sleep and woke up, ready to get on with his life. Which will create ripple effects in many other lives. It starts soon!
