Days of Our Lives: Stephanie and Jeremy Find Love Again After Surviving Kidnapping Ordeal?

Days of Our Lives saw Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) apologizing to Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) for thinking he was her lover. When she sees Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey), Stephanie panics and suspects Jeremy. So, will Stephanie also forgive him for his past abuse?
As of now, Jeremy and Stephanie are still held hostage and at Owen’s mercy. And Stephanie and Jeremy are all they have right now. So, will this combination of pain lead to an agreement or even a reunion?
Days of Our Lives: Jeremy Is Wrongly Accused
So, for months now, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Stephanie all thought Jeremy was a fan and now they’re accusing him of kidnapping. Based on fake evidence. Stephanie decided he was a crook and a liar from the moment she saw he was back.
But despite all the accusations he faces, Jeremy is still seen trying to save Stephanie last week instead of just leaving town. Jeremy followed Owen, not knowing who he was, to find Stephanie.
Stephanie Sees Jeremy Stopped
But, before Jeremy can get Stephanie safely out of the warehouse, Owen shows up. It was then that Stephanie panicked and finally realized that everything she thought was wrong. Later, Jeremy learned from Stephanie who Owen was and why he was scared.
Jeremy told Stephanie that he knew him because Owen posed as a school janitor and had a strange connection with Jeremy before the ship left Stephanie’s cell phone for someone to find. And it was Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) who found his cell and turned Jeremy into school.
That’s when he realized something was wrong, especially when Jeremy started hearing sirens coming at North Salem Elementary. He saw that he was being fixed, so Jeremy sneaked through the bathroom window and saw Owen and tracked him down to the hospital’s secret workshop.
But because of Stephanie’s speculation and Owen’s frame work, Jeremy can’t convince her to run before Owen returns. So now, Stephanie and Jeremy are both handcuffed to chairs, hoping and praying that someone in the lab next door will hear their cries for help.
In fact, this week, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) discovers something amazing. So, he might find Jeremy and Stephanie tied to the seats. But even if he does, Rolf is likely to order his assistant Owen, who has been monitoring Lexie Carver’s (Renee Jones) equipment, to remove the hostages so that his lab is not in danger.
Rolf has important work to do with Lexie as she is very close to her full awakening, so she doesn’t want to deal with the police and all the chaos that this critical time could bring to her patient.
Stephanie and Jeremy Get Together to Run Away
So, this could be a tough pill for Stephanie and Jeremy to swallow. Owen has vowed to take Stephanie away and destroy Jeremy. He’s upset because Owen was relying on his goat Jeremy while he was tied up and out of sight when strange things happened.
Also, one thing that Owen doesn’t trust is Stephanie meeting up with her ex, Jeremy, to escape from that angry little room. Stephanie and Jeremy must trust each other to escape their treacherous captor.
Stephanie and Jeremy also talked about playing into Owen’s delusion that he was going to make a life with Stephanie. They think doing that might get Owen to at least let Jeremy go. Stephanie saw some compassion in Jeremy when Stephanie needed it most.
Days of Our Lives: Escape Steps
During this terrible crisis, after Jeremy tried his best to untie his thumb to loosen it, he moved his chair closer to Stephanie. And they both laced their fingers together as they waited in fear of what Owen would do next.
Meanwhile, Salem PD, Steve, and Alex follow all leads to find Stephanie. The police were also looking for Jeremy because he was their main suspect. But finally Steve began to see the light in their evil thoughts.
He told Jada that the timing of the cell phone showing up at school doesn’t make sense if Jeremy is the kidnapper. And Steve now finds out that Jeremy may have been set up by a real person. Senior cop Jada also has her doubts.
That’s why he went back and watched the CCTV footage of Horton Town Square where Alex was cut by a man in a lab coat. Jada and Steve now realize that it is not Jeremy and that someone was framing him.

Jeremy Hugs Stephanie After They Escape
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Stephanie and Jeremy’s escape or rescue could happen at the end of this week. They will be out of Owen’s hands soon, no matter what happens. After that, things may change dramatically for Stephanie and Alex.
Spoilers later this week say that Jeremy hugs Stephanie. There was no way he could have done that if Jeremy was still handcuffed to the chair. Either Stephanie or Jeremy must be released—or both—for that to happen.
Maybe he’s finally taking off his thumb to relieve himself. We also know that Alex and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) are in the lab soon and Alex rushes to the warehouse. But will he walk in on his wife Stephanie hugging her ex-boyfriend Jeremy?
Meanwhile, Steve and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) run into Owen at the park and are shocked to see his face. At first glance, Alex might think that Jeremy was conspiring with Owen all along. Stephanie may have to defend Jeremy in a lawsuit.
Days of Our Lives: Trauma Bond Could Lead to Stephanie and Jeremy Reunion
And after their tragedy, we saw the trauma of Stephanie getting closer to Jeremy. If that causes problems for her and Alex, it could set Joy Wesley up to get her claws into Alex when Joy returns to Salem next month, possibly with Alex’s baby in her arms.
But in the meantime, if Stephanie comes out of captivity with forgiveness in her heart for Jeremy, it may cause a rift between her and Alex. In addition, if her new husband forces her to start a family, Stephanie may say that she does not want children. That can be a big problem.
Joy returned to Salem on April 24th and Jeremy left on April 29th, so we have a little overlap there. Jeremy and Stephanie continue to be responsible this week and should be away from Owen soon. And if Stephanie comes out of it seeing Jeremy differently, Alex might not like that at all.
