Days of Our Lives TWIST: Gabi Rescues Philip & Saves Titan – Only to Be Betrayed Afterwards?!

Days of Our Lives saw Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) tell Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) on their trip to Miami that The Titan is in serious financial trouble.
This is the same trip where he opened up about Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) being kidnapped by Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and how he died trying to be with Gabi.

So, Stefan’s news is terrible, no doubt, but it could trigger a potentially life-changing effect on Gabi’s life. I wonder if Gabi will help Philip out of this jam. Let’s get into it.

Days of Our Lives: Secret Company of Gabi Hernandez Espionage Against Titan Industries

Gabi has been hiding a big secret from Philip for months. Last year, Gabi was plotting with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to take control. Titan Industries, which had taken over The DiMera Company. As part of their plan, Gabi sneaks a pen with a listening device into Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Philip’s CEO’s office.

That gave Tony and Gabi a boost because they found out that Philip’s mother who was a psychologist Vivian Alamain had forged a letter from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) that led to Philip getting a share of the company. Gabi and Tony found out that Xander knew about it and beat Philip to death.

The fake information and hacking information they obtained illegally allowed Tony to demand that Xander and Philip surrender. DiMera Enterprises, which they had received from corporate takeovers. They made money from the sale, but eventually, it went away The Titan in a very critical situation, where not even one dirty book can get them out of it.

Then if you remember, Tony double-crossed Gabi because Tony had promised Gabi the position of CEO at DiMera Enterprises if she helped him find dirt on Xander and Philip. But Tony didn’t plan to honor that deal.
Instead, he brought in his nephew Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) to take over as CEO The DiMera Company. Then, Tony up and left town and, of course, got kidnapped. Now, Theo knows all about Gabi’s deception. Theo knows that Gabi planted the bug.

He also knows that if Philip found out about it, he would probably break up with Gabi in an instant. And then this week, Theo dreams about being with Gabi and kisses Gabi and sweeps her off her pretty little feet. Poor Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) had no idea where Theo’s head was when she found him thinking when they left the bar on their Valentine’s Day. Jada thought Theo was just distracted because their last dinner date at the pub didn’t happen because Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) kidnapped Theo.

But back to Gabi. So, you’re in Miami enjoying a Valentine’s Day vacation with Philip. And he’s been very insightful about Gabi’s melancholy over losing Stefan and finding out the ugly truth of it all.

It was then that Philip made his own confession that would make Gabi try to fix the situation. Of course, Philip wouldn’t know that he is making amends because Gabi is still lying to him about marrying him.

But you can see that he is sad and he is thinking of telling the truth to Philip by spying on him and Xander. He almost agreed, but Gabi saw that Philip was drooling all over the place because he had been bitten by a jellyfish.

So instead of apologizing, Gabi took a hot shower with her and applied hydrocortisone. Then, the talk turned to them flying sales to Miami instead of secrecy. Philip admitted to Gabi that the reason they didn’t take the company flight was financial. Philip can’t afford any business expenses like flying with Gabi in the car The Titan private jet to Miami.

And Philip told Gabi that a big loan is coming soon and his late father Victor’s mansion is the collateral for the money. The Titan’s they struggled since Xander and Philip had to separate The Titan again DiMera back separately. Gabi looked really worried when Philip told him this.

Not only does Gabi care deeply for Philip, but she also feels totally guilty for taunting Philip with these dirty corporate games. I mean, Gabi was double-crossed by Tony, but it’s not Philip’s or Xander’s fault. Right now, things are going well for Gabi. He found out Gabi Chic away from The Titan and DiMera. And he is happy to run his business successfully.

Meanwhile, Philip is worried that he will lose his father’s legacy, the company. And the family home. And Gabi’s actions led to that. That’s twice as bad as what Tony did to Gabi. And to make it worse, Philip is head over heels for the woman who betrayed him.

So this week, it looks like Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will get confirmation from an FBI handwriting expert that Stefan’s signature on the divorce documents was forged. And that means Gabi is not his ex-wife, she is Stefan’s widow.

Also this week, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was telling Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) that Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) last will will be read soon. So, in the next few weeks, we can see Gabi go from a successful businesswoman to that and being an extremely rich widow worth a lot of zeroes.

I’m sure EJ and the rest of the DiMera’s might hate it, but Gabi could get a big chunk of Stefano’s estate. At best, it will make Vivian angry. But I doubt Gabi could sit on that pile of inheritance money while watching Philip lose it all, especially knowing he had a hand in it.

Can the Titan Bailout save Philip and Gabi’s relationship?

So, we saw Gabi going to Philip and Xander. He may offer investment to help The Titan they get out, or Gabi does better and just buys a loan from the bank and gives them favorable terms.

He can actually do that, maybe even anonymously. But if he comes in and offers some investment or some help, he can tell Philip that, you know, I’ll bail you out if you give me some equity. The Titan.

That way it can be seen as a business reason for him to make this investment and not because of guilt if Gabi won’t come out to Philip.

Will Theo Reveal The Truth And Ruin Gabi’s Future On DOOL?

But Gabi’s plan to help Philip may come into conflict when Theo keeps daydreaming about Gabi and decides he should be with her. Right now, Theo seems to be enjoying his time with Jada and the feeling seems to be mutual.

But we know for sure Days of Our Lives spoilers Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Jada soon, all included. So, he might dump Theo about his fix for Gabi if he finds out. I mean, Jada is a detective. And Theo might turn around and spill the tea on spying on Gabi’s business for a personal reason to separate her and Philip.

Theo may want to withhold his name so Gabi doesn’t know he’s misspoken, but he may inadvertently leak information to Philip or Xander. He can send it as an anonymous tip, tell Xander if he promises to keep it a secret. Then they reveal that Gabi planted an insect in their office. Things could get complicated if Theo decides to play dirty to try to separate Gabi from Philip.

And in the meantime, wait to see if Gabi helps Philip when and if she gets that pile of DiMera dollars because she’s the DiMera widow. The big question from there is whether Gabi bails Titan, but then Philip finds out that Gabi has been spying on him and Xander, will Philip stick with him? Will he forgive Gabi or will he move away from her because of sneaking and lying?
